The Sackrace Thread

True, but from memory, he wasn’t sacked on the same day that we played was he? If I remember it correctly, we played on the Saturday, and he was sacked the day after

You mean to tell me I woke up this morning, 3 hours have passed and Frodgers is still Leicester manager?

Nope played Sunday 2pm sacked just after the 4pm game finished on Sky. Remember Carragher and Henry oddly watching the punditry that night wouldn’t usually.

Leicester play Aston Villa on Saturday at 3pm…
Apparently, some fans are calling the game… ‘El Sackio’

Reports from national media of £10m payout agreement if sacked. We are hearing he wants around £15m and this will allow him to take another managers job. Brendan Rodgers had his eye on the @AVFCOfficial job.
Villa will not be that stupid surely.
They play each other this weekend.

Don’t be shy. I know where you got that from.

That was 14 hours ago, and eight hours later a “national media” outlet put this out:

That’s a shock to me.

Who do they get?

Wow

I wonder would he be interested in Leicester or Villa jobs

Do you know what made me laugh, A few hours ago I was watching Tuchel’s post press after Zagreb.

His last words were “No, no days off. For sure no days off.”

Can you be sacked after the contract has ended?

Yes, if employment automatically continues after the end of a fixed term.

Felt like an insult to injury type of situation. In the case for managers, would a situation you describe be a thing?

Thought Tuchel would be gone by the end of the season but big suprise he’s gone so soon. Perhaps they have someone in mind, but not sure who.

I think it’s time for Brendan Rodgers to take the next step up and sign for Chelsea.

It has got ridiculous. Shanks wouldn’t have lasted 2 years on this basis and then would have gone in the late 60s too. Fergie would never have lasted either beyond his first 2 seasons.

I find the whole managerial roundabout so depressing. I must be getting old.
