The Sackrace Thread

He shouldn’t worry I don’t think we will actually be signing him.

We don’t know what they’ve been promised but he has bought a fair few in.

They are starting to sound like fans on twitter

I think Rodgers will be next and soon…with his public criticism of the owners failure to back him in the transfer market after the loss to Manures…

Maybe, as with Parker, that criticism of the owners was deliberate so that he gets pushed out before the club ends up in a relegation fight.

How long does Cooper have 21 signings 4 points so far but only 2 goals with 11 conceded.

I would assume he would have all the time he wants but their spending has to be a risk. Considering Fulham who know a thing or two didn’t flash half as much and they are still very richly backed.

Gerrard and Rodgers probably next as you say but after that I wouldn’t be sure.

Interesting shout on Cooper. 21 signings is ridiculous. They have backed him, and then some, and have rolled the dice to stay up and hopefully get established in the Prem.

With that many signings it will take a lot of work to find your best team, and find a pattern of play.

If they can keep their head above water while they work it all out, Cooper stays. If they lose too many games and look like relegation fodder, maybe the owners will think, “We did our bit! The team needs to do better!”

Forest is probably looking ahead if they fail as a, football team to transit into a rugby team

The 21 signings for Forrest is a little bit misleading though.

They had a large number of loanees and contracts that expired over the summer, so were always going to have a large rebuild this summer whether they got promoted or not.

The only difference being the amount of money they had available and the quality that they could target would be different.

It may depend on how many villa concede at the weekend, i remember one game not so long ago villa went 2-0 up and we thought we were champions for a few minutes.:neutral_face::neutral_face:

Don’t. Thats triggering :sob:

Most Championship sides do it’s pretty common. 21 players doing a fair bit towards then end, I know a few have gone out on loan but it’s absolutely astonishing number for any team.

As I said I’m surprised they didn’t actually sign Garner considering what he cost Everton and how important he was for them last season. It would have made sense. Unless Garner simply don’t didn’t fancy going back.

Yeah with Villa next they would love a new manager bounce and the one after is Spurs.

Five to one on now with some bookies. I can see it happening tonight after that shambles of a performance.

Would be surprised if it happened tonight. But within 24hrs I can see him getting the boot.

Well, tonight for you is already tomorrow for everyone else. Stop hedging your bets because you live in the future, ya cunt.

I can’t help it if the rest of you are little bit slow.

Probably the morning. Though Rodgers was sacked on a Sunday afternoon when he departed us.

I don’t know if it will matter, but it does feel important that this loss comes against Potter, his seeming replacement of the next great young master coach.
