The Sackrace Thread

Haha @Everton

Absolute madness, but it seems increasingly likely that Forest are going to dump Nuno

  • Nuno publicly complains they havent done anything to strengthen and build on their success of last season
  • They then go out and pretty immediately sign a couple of exciting talents
  • The media celebrates Nuno’s victory
  • Marinakis thinks to himself, “i’m not fucking having that…”

Unbelievable. I can imagine that Forest fans are not best pleased if this is actually true.

Probably tomorrow there will be an announcement blaming the media for spreading untruths and saying that fat Greek bloke has always had complete faith in Nuno.

Edit: Now I’ve seen Nuno’s comments it does seem like he’s looking to be sacked.

Ouch… when a head coach openly says that the relationship with the owner isn’t good anymore, the sack can’t be far away…

Pity, I like him. Hopefully he’ll soon find a new club with an owner who is a bit more insightful than this toxic guy at Nottingham.

Not the softest match (away at Palace) this weekend too, so the conditions are setting up. If the uncertainty gets into the team, they could struggle and create the cause the owner is seeking.

I liked the “where there is smoke there is fire so I knew the situation” bit, basically saying he took the job knowing the guy was a massive cunt so isnt too surprised at the situation.

Daily basis??? With Marinakis??? The poor fucker, can only imagine his pain.

Maybe the reason for the relationship going south was Marinakis putting forward the idea to spend even more time together.

Best manager they’ve had since Clough and not the alcoholic sodded version of the later years. If I was the owner I would learn to work with people a bit more. We know where this ends. Hearts and Watford will tell you.

Who was it when they had Collymore and they finished above us? Frank Clarke? He had a few good seasons with them, but yeah its been pretty shit otherwise.

Yeah I forgot about him, mind you we were generally shit then.

He was a very odd manager he did well there but then had one season at Man City in their dire period and nothing else.

He reminded me of a teacher of mine which seeing that he is 81 now, makes me think my teacher is probably of a similar age and it’s made me feel old.

Nuno looks resigned to moving on. His comments are almost an invitation to be sacked.

I felt sorry for him last year when Marinakis came onto the pitch. Nuno tried to smooth it over afterward, but the violation of an owner who would not stay in his lane was clear for all to see.

The owner seems like a very difficult fella to work for, and Nuno looks like he’s had enough.

Some journalists really are brown noses.

Wow, racist.

You know it’s what someone calls someone when they’ve evidently up someone’s arse don’t you? Don’t be stupid and I don’t appreciate being called a racist.

It’s been a running joke on the forum for months @mattyhurst - I think we all know what a brown nose means.
