The Spursy Thread

This probably just inflated kelleher’s price tag a fair bit.

Disgusting keeping from both sides and from foster especially.

Thread renamed.

The new name is shit.

It’s Spurs. It’s meant to be shit.

Spurs aren’t shit, and Ange isn’t a shit manager. They’ve got a handful of very good players and they are capable of beating anyone in the league on their day. They just happened to meet us on the top of our game while they were suffering an injury crisis.
We are better than them even full strength, but it would have been tighter.
Can’t imagine we’ll get such an easy ride in the cup.

Only likely to have two back and one is Ben Davies who I think is a sub anyhow.

*Three for the second leg mind.

Some rumours of postecoglou being in trouble…

Then again it’s being pushed by the Football Insider so I assume he will get an extension.

Considering the games they’ve lost we are the only team to beat them by more than 1 goal.

Would feel sorry for Ange. It was always clear that Spurs would struggle without Kane. They don’t have the biggest squad and been struggling with injuries (and suspensions tbh) since Ange took over.

Will Spurs be Ange’s Waterloo in regards to him always winning a trophy in his second season?

Levy needs to remember… Before Ange, no-one wanted the job…!!

Depends what Slot does to be honest with our team in those games but with it backing on to the FA cup weekends he may treat it less rotational than the Soton side.

Also Ange could claim he was sacked before he could like Big Sam who pretty much set up several teams for relegation.

I’ve been a supporter of Ange, but dear Lord he’s so inflexible. I say move heaven and earth to get McKenna in. He knows the club, knows players and will have a plan B. Sorry Ange, you lost me.

At least this guy is not delusional about whom they get, given the rumours that McKenna might be gone in January…

It would be wild for a manager to get fired for being too deep in a relegation scrap only for him to immediately get a step up move to Spurs, but it would make some sense. And not in a Spursy way.

I remember this being the argument for Tactics Tim Sherwood.

Dear Mr Levy,

please don’t sack Ange before we play Spurs in 10 days.

Thanks

Spurs or no Spurs, I can see Iraola being pretty wanted by some big clubs very soon.

Looks a bit like a young Seve Ballesteros to me. That classic image in the navy blue Slazenger jumper… Iraola.

If he’s booted out before the current season ends and still got a whiff of a cup however slight, he can modify his claim a little in that he always won a trophy in his every second full season.

It’s sort of how Big Sam had never been relegated, as he often got the sack before they could.

WBA finally ended that streak.
