Love the hashtag #COYS sounds more like an angling for a fight.
9 points at home in the league and 18 away.
Amazing infrastructure, but no substance.
If Frank goes, I hope they don’t get Xabi
Do not like Bergvall with his shithousery against us in the past, but isn’t he a bit of a bright spot for Spurs?
Love the sponsors on the shirt by Squires as well. ![]()
Spurs is jinxed.
From the Guardian:
Thomas Frank’s preparations for the Champions League game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday night have been rocked by injuries to Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven – and a car crash affecting Randal Kolo Muani and Wilson Odobert.
Hey look, the player that some of the LFC fans want, vdV, is injured again.
Yeah, they’re having some insanse lists of players missing lately.
Oddly the same last season.
That is how much Angeball broke them
Looks like Thomas has been given the sack. Not surprised.
So now we know who’s next…
So Arne won’t be slotting in down London way.
Shame it went sideways for him - he had his Brentford team playing really well.
The Spurs show goes on. Their next five aren’t easy games either, with the North London Derby up next. It’s a shame that Burnley and Wolves are so far behind in the league, so there’s only really one other team that should go down…and West Ham are playing much better now under Nuno, so I’d expect them to start moving up the table…
They’re at a point where it’s obvious to all that it’s not only the head coach and that to improve everything to return being competitive (close to trophies) might take time. But still, in the short-term, they have to make decisions that bloody keeps them up in this league. The pressure these days outside the main bubble is influential than ever. I hate that, but you cannot go against it, it’s the reality.
Tactics Tim… Can throw the gillet.
Saw this on the BBC site…
In place of the bedrock of Brentford owner Matthew Benham and director of football Phil Giles, Frank stepped into a high-stakes environment where even winning the Europa League - Spurs’ first trophy in 17 years - did not spare predecessor Ange Postecoglou the sack.
Spurs, in turn, were employing a head coach who had operated away from the sort of harsh spotlight and high expectations that awaited him in his new job. It was an ill-starred alliance, and Frank quickly found himself out of his depth.
Every manager is going be like that for them.
More DNA.
