A few people said it won’t be long before he starts picking on Dele Alli to deflect from the defeats against Liverpool and Leicester. He is a small man.
It is self defeating, as the player in question was threatening to become world class not too long ago, and even if that is overstating it for some tastes, at the least he was a very solid Premier league performer, and as such a valuable asset.
Mourinho is damaging Dele’s confidence, and thus making it even more unlikely that the player will get back to what he was, at least under Mourinho. He is also damaging the club’s financial picture, so Levy won’t be pleased, as noted above.
Mourinho is long since past his sell by date. He might yet organize Spurs well enough to get a top four finish this season, but his days of winning the big prizes are history.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Mourinho deliberately set up Alli to fail last night, by giving him a role in the team, knowing he would struggle to perform. It sounds crazy, but Mourinho obviously wants Alli out of the club and after last night, I think he’ll be kicking Levy’s door in demanding a move next month. Mourinho publicly humiliated him after the game, a disgusting way to treat the lad.
The Sours and Sourinho; its that wrong I would heckle the cunt in the street if I had voice enough to shout over the throng of the queue. Complete wanker. Looking forward to his demise.
If you were to write a Mourinho algorithm, you would get exactly the same results. Mourinho always does exactly this, some posters just did well guessing it would be Alli.
Yeah, he always finds a guy and uses him as a sacrificial lamb to show the other players they are similarly disposable if they don’t fall in line. What is interesting is that person had looked to be Ndombele, but he actually got enough a response from him that he’d turned into one of their more important players this season. I bet every game that that Ndombele plays and does well in make Alli duck a little.
As sure as day follows night, as sure Mourinho stirs up shite.
He’s literally done the exact same things at every job he’s been at. Levy can have no-one to blame but himself when the inevitable Mou meltdown happens and Spurs become a public laughing stock again.
