We’re better than they are with half our team out. I’m inclined to get as many games under our belt now as we can while Mo and Mane are here and so we’re not scrambling later one to make up games.

On the contrary, I think developing a winning mentality starts with treating any competitive game seriously, and each competition as one to win. No matter how small the trophy , its always fun to win one.
It is also good experience for adapting to a routine of playing in European competition.
Furthermore it probably goes against them in coefficient calculations if they qualify for other European competitions in future.

Dishonest, small mind, shit club. There is nothing charming or admirable about them. My apologies to any of the TAN community here with family that support Tottenham, they’ve just always been one of ‘those’ clubs for me.
And to think I actually started to shift my opinion (slightly) toward the favorable on Levy after viewing the Amazon series.

Can’t stand Harry Kane either.
Scored a few goals. “Best day of my life” to win personal bauble? Wife says what about our wedding, and he says, erm, I meant professional life. Arse.
Goal not given to him, I swear on my babies’ life (who does that?!) that it hit me. Arse.
Misses a penalty at Anfield. Gets another. Finally scores. Adopts inflated third person stance, “Nobody gives Harry Kane another chance.” Arse.
Not especially fast. No great trick. No particular skill to speak of. There’s nothing there in his game that makes me fall in love with the beautiful game. It remains the greatest mystery to me why he scores goals at a healthy rate, as he is crap.
I hope he stays at Spurs for the rest of his career before going to the MLS. If he does, he won’t win a thing, save, arguably, a domestic cup, with a fair wind.
