Not Spurs related, but did anyone see him in the MLS cup final the other week? He clearly isnt fit, but they threw him on late and found themselves a man down and then went behind in the last minute to a goal scored by Philly’s 6’6" CB. A minute later, Bale powered over him to head in a cross leaving the giant lying on the floor. It was stunning.

They report it as being a hamstring injury…I reckon it’s from bird flu personally.

Shit happens when you over exert yourself dancing and being a smarmy prick.

2-0 Brenford. Spurs will need a helluva Conte rocket up them now. Even if they come back it’s yet more drag on their ever fragile psychology

It’s only a matter of time before Levy and Conte start fighting, and Conte storms off in a huff to another club.

Conte is already moaning about the amount he has to spend, they can’t afford the likes of Enzo £120 million and have to purchase players around £20-30 million.

Poor Conte

What happened?

Thought they were the closest to challenging City in August?

Can’t fault a man for his honesty and he’s not wrong.

That Spurs squad is pretty muck Kane and Son and maybe Bentancur aside.

Embarrassing.

Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte have both won trophies at every club they’ve been at other than one.
Tottenham Hotspur :woozy_face::woozy_face::woozy_face:

Not sure if this is a dig at the managers or Spurs here RO (maybe both) but it doesn’t help when you’re sacked just a week prior to getting the team to a cup final

Levy the genius.

I haven’t been paying as much attention to football in general this year than in years previous so was really surprised watching the game yesterday by how much pressure Conte appears to be under. They have been passed by both Arsenal and Newcastle and so I think it’s fair that would add some pressure, but was there any reasonable expectation of them doing better this season than just qualifying for the CL again? Until this round of fixtures that was the spot he had them in and is right in the mix even after that result. After watching that performance you’d have to give me big odds for me to bet on them taking one of those 4 spots and so I get the grumblings, but it’s still surprised me how much pressure a manager of a side with the opposite of a history of success can find himself in while continuing to make them a CL level side when considering only results alone.

Watched a bit on Talksport with Cascarino and O’Hara, turned off pretty quickly but not before I got a good belly laugh out of it.

O’Hara - “Where is our Saka…Foden…Rashford, Totnum supposed to have 1 of the best acadamies in the world…I came through Totnum’s academy”

Yes Jamie, thank you for enlightening us all with the problem at the academy.

It’s an interesting question. Under Poch they had several players who had come through their set up. Presumably they must have focused all their resources at the first team since?
