Such a sum doesn’t exist.
Stevie’s never been the talkative type. Maybe a punditry spot here and there but no more than that. Carra talks absolute cobblers from time to time (getting more frequent recently) but he’s also more comfortable in front of the camera and is ready to crack a joke and doesn’t mind getting the piss taken out of him.
I think Stevie has been good anytime I’ve seen him as a pundit. Carra is clearly knowledgeable but the whole hyper, thinking he’s hilarious act is wearing a bit thin
Objectivelly, Carra is top draw, as good as you can get from a football pundit these days. I actually feel he’s improving and keeping in touch with the game. Doing what he can to at least maintain a high level. Certainly more than Neville, who’s more in and out these days (and has a simply different life with more going on). We have to exclude how much we’re seeing Carra if we find him boring (that’s more on us, nobody is forcing us to watch it all), because he’s a bit everywhere these days. MNF more serious stuff, CBS more light-hearted stuff.
Stevie was alright when he was a pundit on BT for a while, but it’s not Carra’s level. Don’t know if he’d even want to put the same effort. My feeling is no. It’s probably either coaching (and not necessarily for a long time, especially if he doesn’t improve as he was hoping to) or just retire from football to a more quiet life, sometimes appear here and there and that’s it.

Son of Liam Byrne, the Irish mobster.
Stevie was a smashing player for us, one of the very best in our history. He started out great in his managerial career at Rangers, fell short at Villa, and is now taking the Saudi dough while not doing an especially great job there.
Any hopes I once had over him being Liverpool manager have long since faded. His record isn’t good enough, which is the main thing. But I have to add, I don’t like the company he keeps.
Maybe that’s unfair, as there’s no evidence the son is a criminal (as far as I know) and it is Stevie’s daughter who has the relationship. Still, I’m not a fan, and the whole thing looks iffy to me.

BREAKING: Steven Gerrard, set to part ways with Al Ettifaq and LEAVE Saudi Arabia! Mutual agreement almost reached for Liverpool legend to leave the club, same for some his staff’s members.
Just read he has left the role…
I thought he got sacked before Xmas
About time. He had absolutely nothing to do there in the first place.
Hopefully he’ll soon find a club in the Championship, and bring his managerial career back on track.
Doesn’t need to.
He’ll pop up in a television studio.
Shudder. Loved watching him as a player, but when talking about the game he comes across as extremely miserable.

Could have made a decent manager too as the results at Rangers showed. But he took the villa step far too early.
I don’t think he’ll be interested in the money that championship clubs offer and he’s clearly not good enough to be a manager at the PL level.
Don’t see anything but a pundit role happening. Overlap incoming. Probably he might lighten up a bit there.
It’s a strange one, as someone like Lampard has been allowed to have many more managerial failures. Stevie did well at Rangers and then fell a bit short at Villa.
If he wants it, I hope Stevie gets another role in management. In all likelihood it will be a step down to Championship level, and if he does well another Prem gig will come along.
It’s hard to know how much hunger and desire is there.
Most Rangers fans credit Michael Beale as the brains behind the Rangers success.
Yep, you have to have the right people around you, especially if your forte is leadership and being the ‘name’… it’s not enough, you need good coaching.
I hope Stevie gets another job if he wants to stay in the game, so we can see for sure what he can do.

The local paper in Liverpool, is saying he has Bolton in his sights
