Beautiful word, much much underused.
The denouement of the City debacle pleased Liverpool supporters.

Jigger - Brummies use Entry commonly or Gully.
Cob - is a bread roll
Ta-Ra - is also similarly used.
We also use ‘Mom’ instead of Mum, ‘Island’ instead of Round about and ‘Gambole’ instead of forward roll.
A more recent one is to use the Cities dialing code 0121, in a saying. 0 1 2 1 do one 
.
I do find the local slang quite interesting, I remember working in Stoke and being called ‘Duck’ by a shop keeper. It still makes me chuckle thinking about it because I don’t think I have ever pulled a more confused face in all my life.
