Why am I seeing the word loose rather than lose so often these days (oh wait, yeah, we have not been winning matches)? I know that English is not my first language, but have I been getting it wrong all these time?

I have heard you could use loose while releasing an arrow, or use loose to relax the necktie a bit.

Edit: Hang on, it was Cyni’s job to correct the mistakes.

You are correct.
We can LOOSE an arrow or LOOSEN a necktie, but Liverpool LOSE football matches

So, in essence, the meme is not a good one…it should be “Risking to lose all my noodles…”, or the meme generator meant “Risking to relax all my noodles..” or “Risking to release all my noodles…”?

It ought to say, “Me risking losing (or risking the loss of) all my noodles down the sink…”

"Risking to release all my noodles…” sounds vaguely sexual, or is that just me? :winking_face_with_tongue:

What’s the point of a bagel anyway?
25% more expensive for 25% less?

Those were the days…

I want to laugh, but sadly current times make me fear the repercussions

I just saw someone post “I baked some synonym buns”. I asked if they were like the ones grammar used to make. Now I’m blocked!
