Titles have to go. They won nothing. That’s the minimum.
The same as I think City should be facing - burn the club to the ground.
If the fans want to do a Wimbledon/Bury/Chester style pheonix club, fine let them - but it has to be build from the ground up. Start in the lowest possible league and work up through promotions
And they appeal. FFS. Suck it up. You cheated. Stop paying lawyers. Well done PL for fighting the money. Well done the hacker who exposed this.
No titles. Gone. After that I do not care. Relegation? Just gives them a redemption story.
I’ve not read every post as it’s hard for me to keep up with the pace of the discussion, but has anyone mentioned whether City could/should be removed from PL competition until appeals have been concluded?
For one would disincentivise them to keep dragging this out as long as possible just for the hell of it, but also at this point they’re guilty of basically holding the rest of the league in utter contempt, so surely they shouldn’t still be allowed to play those teams, probably beat them and continue to affect results and league placements of teams who have actually complied with the rules?
I suspect that it is at the back of the PL minds that they have already sold TV packages for 380 games. If 33 (outstanding City fixtures) are missing then they would be liable to compensation. I suspect that they would prefer to keep 33 dead rubbers rather than have a financial hit.
I mean City are about to be hit with eye-watering fines, use some of that pot to compensate the broadcasters, or point the broadcaster to City and say join the queue to sue the cheaters for compensation as ultimately it’s their fault?

And Pep knew. So he is tarnished too. I have said it endlessly. Titles gone. Do not care who gets them. Erase that period.
Wonder what the players are thinking and how quickly some of them will be looking to get off.
When that fire sale starts hopefully we’re at the front of the queue for Anderson, Semenyo and O’Reilly.
Fuck em.
In my eyes, everyone who took the Man City dollar when the whole football world knew they had these charges hanging over them is tainted.
Again. I will say it. The constant bleating about innocence. Another appeal. You still think you are above this.
Yep.
No-one will convince me that the players were dumb enough to not have an idea how this would end.
The thick cunts who signed after the 115 charges were announced are the worst.
Hope their careers nose dive
Including Millie?

I remember that being mocked at the time.
Gakpo was more than ready to join them, is he tainted?
The charges were only brought against the club four years ago.
Saw an interview with Carra this morning and he hit the nail on the head (for a change) when he said that all those player, fans, teams were robbed of the magical moments and joy they should have rightfully experienced. He specifically mentioned Liverpool and it’s true. We’ve lost out more than anyone.
It’s cruel, borderline psychopathic behaviour from City’s owners and top officials.
Overestimating the intelligence of your average footballer.
True. Can’t blame the players joining Man City. Atleast someone like Milly joining in 2010. He wouldn’t know that man City were fudging the books to this extent.
It isn’t milners fault he decided to join Man City.
He moved from City on a free and came to us.
He can lose the trophies he won with Man City though.
