The thread for those Vile Cheats Manchester City. Who cheated

It hasn’t taken long for him to reveal himself as the absolute cunt he is.

Players chose to go to City throughout this ownership, this was either through inflated transfer fees r inflated wages, which were only afforded through their fraudulent accounting.

So whether it is, whilst they were doing it or after all titles/trophies are tarred wih the same brush as their cheating clearly enhanced their status within the footballing world and made them an attractive destiunation for footballers.

Yes, you are too soft. Simply expel them from the Premier League. I would then expect the Football League to accept them only if they gained promotion from the National League who would probably be glad to accept them.

Oh, and a massive fine at least equal to the amount that they fraudulently obtained.

100%. They must be banished from the PL for at least as long as they have been cheating (which doesn’t stop miraculous in 2018 or whatever. Ideally the FL also rejects them and they have to spend 10 years working up from the bottom before seeking entrance to the FL.

I would also like to see them removed from this years PL, or docked 60 points, disruptive as it would be as otherwise the carryon as normal thing becomes a problem: firstly they can’t be entitled to anything this season as that somehow undermines the period after these findings where they cheated us; second it incentivises cheaty to try and delay into the next season and sow confusion. If they are unwilling to announce this publicly I’d like them to spread the info privately so cheaty are hugely undermined on the pitch. Personally I’d prefer all games vs them are given as 3-0 forfeits so they don’t influence the table.

All this innocent pleading misses the point that the charges were charges and we’ve had the full investigation there response to it was to fudge it.

All this now about removing funding and suing people is all they have, ten a penny rich people will be around to fill any void. After all they are sitting on all that land you gave them in Manchester.

Let them go…like those tax dodging fuckwits who claim they are leaving because they can’t have their own way, they rarely fucking do.

Grow up Britain because the PL is one of your global brands and without punishment it’s tainted.

Also remember this is what Burnham has cited remember.

This actual case…. I think he’s conflated the fact they had a bit of a reduction in sanction to actually being innocent. It wasn’t. If Everton have to pay that off the back of a 19m overspend then imagine what Man City face. It was also only 6 points for them. The sanction has to fit the crime. Explusion from the PL for a set number of years fits the crime in my view.

Ethiad airlines can threaten all they want if the case below is anything to go with then the 4 who have the right to sue could be funding their transfer spending for 5 years if they don’t get a suitable punishment.

Anyhow disappointed in Burnham but he’s an Evertonian they generally disappoint when it comes to football.

Etihad have got some nerve but you absolutely call these fuckers bluff now. With Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the rest of the gulf states in the toilet right now with Iranian missiles pinging in and visitors fleeing, they aren’t in any position to start threatening withdrawing investment or trade deals with the UK.
Seriously, the absolute arrogance of these twats.

The money they were receiving was coming from third parties. Its the image rights, sponsor deals etc.

The most blatant example was Mancini, who did consultancy for another football club (also owned by the same owners). 4 days work for 2M Euro…

From my mate Attila the Stockbroker (a Brighton fan):

"Manchester City should be relegated to the National League - and be glad to be still in existence as a club.

If we were in Finland, they wouldn’t be. They’d have been closed down, literally wiped off the face of the earth.

In 2012, three time Finnish champions Tampere United were convicted of illegally receiving £300,000 in a money laundering scandal. The club was dissolved.

Their fans started a new fan owned club at the very lowest level of Finnish amateur football - and one of their big inspirations was our fan-led battle to save BHAFC. They recently published my football poetry anthology as a mark of respect to us, which was a great honour for me. Thank you to them, Hiljaiset Levyt and Jukka!

And after more than ten years and six divisions it gives me great pleasure to say they are about to win promotion to the second division, one away from where they were before the scandal, still as a fan owned club. I visited for the first game of the season. They are inspirational.

As part of their punishment, maybe City should be forced to become a fan owned club too!"

The stupidity of the situation is the authorities will claim it already is, but city (and Newcastle) both demonstrated clear separation between the “true” owner and the state. Ducking LOL

That has always been City’s counter argument…until they need to bring the power of the UAE government in to get what they want.

That was my thinking about that situation at the moment.

They don’t have many cards and that’s not ending any time soon.

The Andy Burnham stuff is galling. He appears to be going to bat for them. Mayor of Manchester while Abu Dhabi investment money is flowing into his city?

Nope.

I’m glad a reckoning is coming, and if it ends up going all the way to Downing Street too, because there’s some sort of skeleton in that closet, bring it on.

This has dragged on for years. Nobody is rushing to any conclusion.

I don’t know if this is the right phrase or not, but I’ve seen it somewhere along the way

Smash them. They’re shit.

Andy Burnham is now the prime minister of the United Kingdom. Yes he still acting as if he’s the mayor of Manchester.
This actually raises concerning questions beyond this particular situation. What kind of leverage does another nation state have on our current sitting Prime Minister that they can bring to bear in order to get him to make a public statement in support of state-owners of City who have done such off-the-scale egregious violations of rules that they knowingly signed up for and have done for so many years and in practically full view of the entire league? If anything, this should be even a bigger incentive for the independent regulator, in conjunction with the Premier League, to get rid of UAE influence on English football once and for all.
And to those who say that the city owners are putting in all their own money into the area, you should go look up what the UAE have been upto in Sudan and Yemen. That yellow gold UAE and Dubai are famous for? Go look up where that comes from.

I’m suspicious that Burnham will be hoping for a quick resolution to all this and that the City owners dealings outside football aren’t delved into too deeply

If City’s bravado and threats are anything to go by , then he’s hoping against hope. This thing looks like it has the potential to smear his premiership before it’s barely begun.

Beyond football, and beyond these callous to the point of psychopathic levels of financial corruption that the UAE have perpetrated on the Premier League, if you look into what the UAE government does with its money, and how it treats certain sections of its own populace, any moral human being would be actually disgusted.
