The thread for those Vile Cheats Manchester City. Who cheated

Pinto, the whistleblower whose Football Leaks documents prompted the entire Premier League investigation into Manchester City, has been in a secret location ever since 2020 but, in what has been described as “an act of state terrorism”, that protection is about to be removed next week.

Here is a snapshot of the City revenue carried on through the 24/25 season, delineating the identified “sham” money, and the continued UAE supplementation (taken from Terry Flewers YT clip).

The greatest damage to the product is from a loss of sporting integrity. Nothing comes slightly close to that…

Minimum punishment should be relegation to the Championship but here we are. Politics, corruption and Nations are getting involved and there’s no chance for football to win.

But hey, they’ve been found guilty - that’s minimum satisfaction for me and at least we have the match at Anfield next week.

Was also said that the investigation was a sham. Turned out wrong

That it would never be seen through. Wrong

That City will never be found guilty. Wrong

Greed has destroyed more than one institution/country, making it one of the worst of the deadly sins. The fears over state owned football teams are coming to fruition, and the PL will probably end up the worse for it. If the the tribunal and PL have the balls for it, this lot should be kicked out of PL club ownership, with an eagle eye put on the owners of Newcastle, to keep this from happening again.

lol it didn’t take long, did it. Either they are fucked or the league is dead, I’m fine with either.

Burnham opened himself to this. Feck them. Buy a football club but cannot buy our country.

It was (state backed) oil money that bumped the transfer market in the Neymar deal too.

Detained in Dubai are now fucked.

And the integrety of the P/L is shot to peices.

1/3 of it’s history has just been torched as the dominant team from that period has been confirmed to not only have cheated, but has commited financial fraud and tax avoidence with the potential of it going upto half of the leagues history being tainted.

Alex Salmond made a similar comment about Trump:

Investing in Scotland does not imply ownership of Scotland

Unfortunately, he encouraged him to invest in the first place. When it comes to these things, previous behaviour is a good predictor of future behaviour.

Sounds like the owners are getting more desperate…
