If you would rather everything you have watched, endured and enjoyed in the last 10-15 years be tainted, that is upto you. It is much better if they are fond GENUINELY not guilty. This has been my opinion throughout the last 3 years.

What happens with Liverpool football club, my passion, affects my mood, the things i sa y and do, it affects those around me. You think i should want everything to be false?

Should a whole generation of youth be left thinking , what if? A generation of footballers,? You want the period of 2009-2020, the last period of time when i watched football and i wasn’t disabled, time i spent cheering and singing bobby firmino and mo salah songs with my eldest daughter, when i could still see properly and wasn’t in constant pain everyday … you want me to be tribalistic? what does it achieve? It will give you nothing apart from a few point scoring jibes. fabulous.

With all the political pressure now being applied by the UAE, do you think this is even possible any more? If they’re suddenly cleared of all charges after all the threats they and their government have made, do you really think that could ever be seen as a genuine verdict and not one that is tainted?

Maybe a spare seat next to this cunt for klopptinho?

It is tainted.
Everything about the sport has been tainted by City. Klopp would have dominated football but for their cheating. It only gets cleansed when they lose their tawdry appeal.

How much? A million? Ok, I’ll go to the match. Thanks.

Definitely worth bearing in mind for those still willing to give City the benefit of the doubt (?!!), this isn’t the first time City have been found guilty. It’s at least the 3rd.

But yeah, maybe they really are innocent

Third time’s the charm!

That is a massive issue when anything gets played out int he media, forget this case, any process should be allowed to play out and the end judgment be attained, If someone is successful in an appeal or case and or they are denied, when its been a big media scrum , people will always blame the fact it was played out in the media. In this case it is a little bit easier to be covered by the media because it is not criminal proceedings but if it was a case needing a jury then it’d be very hard to find someone who hadn’t already formed an opinion. I do agree with you.. i just have my opinion it would have been better for all if it was a clean untainted not guilty.

Yep.
And subsequent reporting of their CL ban being overturned by CAS was rolled out as not guilty.
They were 100% guilty, just got their legal team to find a technical loophole.

For this case, their main aim is to get off with it, not prove their innocence

Intimidate the witnesses.
Not with violence in this instance.
With money.

Do you believe that the whole of the last 15 years plays out in the same way if city don’t appear with money and win things? everything would be different. This forum might never have appeared. There might never have been Covid. No FFP/PSR/SCR.

An example is Bush and Blair took us to war based upon false information.. do you think the world today is in the same place had that never happened?

It would have been better for all if Man City didn’t cheat, if they had fully cooperated with the process, if it was all fair. That’s really not a realistic outcome though is it? There is no path to an untainted not guilty. How would we ever get there?

i wonder how much they’re paying him…

I really don’t understand this.
If City didn’t get money, and Chelsea didn’t get money football would have been different.
Maybe Utd would have benefited. Certainly Klopp’s Liverpool would.

Bit of a stretch re Covid though.

Aha, that’s why other clubs don’t want the owners gone, won’t get their transfer money!

see what you say there is just on the same pages as me but with a different tone. It is highly unlikely we get there, nigh on impossible it seems. I feel like people are joyous about it. I am apathetic towards most things, so perhaps my viewpoint is difficult for most people to see, i accept that, I am not showing tribalistic rage or consumed by the outrage. It just makes me feel sad. In a way i should be glad that people don’t see what i see. I do worry about when its all done and dusted and people have time to reflect.

People appear, to me, to think that i think city are innocent or that they have done nothing wrong. That is not what i have said nor what i think.

'Man City are guilty and @klopptinho is a troll’ button :down_right_arrow:
