It’s huge news, so lots of people are commenting. There’s been no footy, so people are repeating themselves, me included :joy:

Hopefully we see something resembling justice as an outcome of all this.

out of interest did any of the lawyers who defended City follow football?

I hope they were all supporters of Liverpool, Utd and Arsenal…

Is this resembling what you want?

just a joke in reference to me being on the titanic earlier @Mascot :slightly_smiling_face:

Best moment is Mourinho getting shoved and pulled off due to (naturally) wanting to go too far and actually murder poor Pep.

(Although personally I suspect that Mourinho would have done absolutely everything to win himself, including cheating and much more.)

I must admit after what happened with UEFA , I didn’t think the PL had a chance nor that they would stick to their guns and see it through. Bravo to them.

At this point, their guilt has been proven, and there is absolutely no need to wait on City’s voluntary appeals to label them cheats.

Your argument appears to be that City are not necessarily guilty until they’ve completely ran out of appeals.

To draw an equivalence to the criminal system, it’s effectively like saying that Ted Bundy wasn’t actually truly guilty until his final, failed appeal hours before his execution.

They are guilty. They have been found that way. Unless they can prove otherwise, that will continue to be the case.

I’ve just spent an hour typing a reply to you and had to delete it. My reasoning is hard to explain. My brain can’t deal with things the way yours most likely can, it used to but now it doesn’t. There are other people in society with conditions similar to mine. It is invisible. I don’t say that you or others are wrong, I’vve tried to get across the point of how this system of releasing information in parts is not good for everyone. The media hysteria does not help. Stripping of titles and reshaping history does not help. When i say it does not help, i mean it does not help those with cognitive issues.

My nervous system requires a more 1+1=2 approach and system. I worry about people and the way their mood might be affected in a negative way,

Everything they’re doing now is about self preservation, there is no innocence to prove despite their claims of irrefutable evidence.

They’re not even really looking to be proven innocent either. They’re trying to discredit and litigate the process that’s found them guilty and delay or reduce the punishment coming their way. It’s exactly what they did with the UEFA charge.

Everyone knew they were guilty, the verdict has just confirmed that.

If there was a declared punishment. People would know what they, city, are fighting to reduce, but there isn’t. Some People want expulsion from the league etc and if it turns out ot be 30 points , massive fine and a 2 year transfer ban, a lot will see it as corruption and political influence. I don’t like the system of everything being on the table, i want structure and understanding so i know what they are currently looking at for punishment.

Except this time, there is no time bar at all. That leaves Man City in a bind.

I think you should just step back from this now mate. People are willing to give you the benefit of the doubt all things considered. You just seem to be tormenting yourself for no good reason at this point.

Yeah i am trying to get people to see something they are highly likely never going to see. Like koptician said, It’s not going to change or have any affect (paraphtasing) on what happens.
