Gotta love how nobody bothered to update his Wiki stats several years and five clubs before the end of his playing career lol
Sep sale to Brentford was a very good piece of business as in his last match for Brentford he was crap and even was responsible for an own goal with a wayward back pass to his goalie.
Yeah, I hadnāt followed it to be honest.
Glad he is at least getting game time, I didnāt think he was a bad defender.
Omar Marmoush, Omar Marmoush, running down the wingā¦Omar Omar Omar Omaaraaarrā¦Egyptian Princeā¦
Heās only just older than me
So who the fuck are we signing then?
Who? Maybe Kudus.
West Ham are expected to stand firm on Ghana attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudusā Ā£85m release clause with Arsenal and Liverpool both monitoring the 24-year-old. (Mail - subscription required)
Oh look. Another left back. One we shouldāve bought when he was at Wigan, but the club didnāt listen to me.
Manchester United and Liverpool are keeping tabs on Fulham left-back Antonee Robinson, 27, after his fine start to the season. The London club are said to be reluctant to let the American leave during the season, ruling out a possible January move. ( Football Insider , external)
And ā¦
Liverpool and Chelsea are among the clubs to have sent scouts to watch versatile 17-year-old midfielder Andrija Maksimovic although they have been told the Serbia international will not leave Red Star Belgrade on the cheap. (Teamtalk)
Liverpool are not looking to offload Italy forward Federico Chiesa, 27, despite reports of a return to Serie A. (The Athletic - subscription required, external)
The Chiesa rumours are making me laugh.
He clearly is for whatever reason not fit enough and that wouldnāt suddenly solve itself if he went to Italy.
Arhtur which is the baseline for this kept showing up in training for the U21s he was evidently fit until he got injured.
We could flog him off and cut our losses but at 5m I doubt it considering what we would get and he isnāt going suddenly become match fit on a flight over to Italy.
9/10 rumours are daft.
How about the rest of the body parts?
Sicknotes from Italy is a theme
Obviously the theory they are pushing is that we donāt think he is up to speed while Chiesaās camp think he is and this the tension. If there is any truth in that, then he can go. Fitter players have not been getting games consistently, so there is no way Chiesa can demand his way in. But considering the wonderful almost charming signing videos he did, this will be a shockerā¦or is it.
Anyone seen the required ten full matches of this Marmoush bloke?
Does he play on the right? Canāt see the need for a CF or LW.
From the highlights of his hat trick against Bayern, heās lightning fast and heās got a hammer of a right foot.
Is that good enough?
Sounds great, but the ten match rule is non negotiable Iām afraid.
It wouldnāt surprise me.
Nunez is in his 3rd season (although on a bloody 6-year contract) and Jota has injuries.
I think he would be training at least with the U21s if this was true like Artur who I mentioned.
If he was only getting 10 mins then Iād see the possible rumour but heās not been outside since about September.
I think like him, Arthur was lacking match fitness (something of a recurring theme with Juventus here it seems), but heās already played more for us than Arthur did (which is a shame because he managed to play rather consistently for Fiorentina last season I think).
From what Arne has been saying about Chiesa, itās a matter of keeping him consistently fit. I think the problem is that he keeps getting niggling injuries so he will train for a few sessions, but then have something happen and not be able to train. Hopefully it all clears up soon.
But this is the point the rumours are basically just false bollocks because he isnāt playing any football anywhere in his current state.
