Behind a paywall so cant comment
Well not you⊠unless we donât want him. Iâll open it if you want.
Behind the paywall it says this:
Liverpool are lining up a ÂŁ40m move for Bournemouthâs 21-year-old Hungary left-back Milos Kerkez. (Telegraph - subscription required)
And this is whatâs behind the Mailâs paywall. Itâs a bit worrying. Iba needs new contract.
Real Madrid are interested in Liverpoolâs 25-year-old France defender Ibrahima Konate. (Mail - subscription required)
But maybe we donât need to worry as RM will be buying Huijsen who of course speaks better Spanish than Iba, due to him being Spanish.
Real are also keen on Bournemouthâs 19-year-old Spain defender Dean Huijsen, who has release clause of around ÂŁ50m in his contract. (Talksport)
This Sesko kid ainât no friend of mine.
Liverpool are the latest club to show an interest in RB Leipzigâs Benjamin Sesko, although the 21-year-old Slovenia striker is believed to prefer a move to London, with Arsenal and Chelsea keen. (TBR Football)
Please start this thread before Nikola does.
Please start the thread before Nikola.
Who dares summon me?!
Update on Kimmich:
Bayern complete the agreement with Joshua Kimmich over new deal! Despite links with other clubs, Kimmich always wanted to stay and the verbal agreement has been completed. Negotiations were already advanced 10 days ago with parties now preparing documents to sign very soon. Real Madrid were never advancing in talks with Kimmich as their priority is Trent Alexander-Arnold.
No smoke without fire scenario, or just a bullshit article with no substance. Would be good if we could keep at least one Scouser in the team next season eh.
Liverpool star to be âofferedâ to Euro giants with Arne Slot unconvinced amid âinternal fracturesâ
According to reports, Liverpool star Curtis Jones and head coach Arne Slot have had an âinternalâ conflict and he could leave this summer.
Jones progressed through the ranks at Liverpooland heâs shone at times for his boyhood club under Slot this season.
The 24-year-old has three goals and six assists in his 34 appearances in all competitions, but he has been rotated by Slot as heâs only made 12 Premier League starts.
The centre-midfielder has made brief cameo appearances off the bench against Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain in Liverpoolâs previous two matches and heâs linked with a shock exit ahead of the summer window.
Not much has been said about this proposed move in recent months, but a report in Italy reckons itâs back on the table with Inter Milan willing to sell Hakan Calhanoglu for a âsuitableâ price.
Jones is among the players mentioned as possible replacements, with it claimed that heâs to be âoffered by his agents and brokers to clubs willing to show him off again, including Inter Milanâ.
This comes as the Liverpool star has âremained in Slotâs shadowâ and the head coach âdoesnât want to hear about fielding him as a starter with any continuityâ, with this stance sparking âsome internal fracturesâ.
It is also noted that Liverpool would want around 40 million euros (ÂŁ34m) for Jones and this could make it âbetterâ for Inter Milan to ârush for a product made in Italyâ as a cheaper solution.
Jones has been praising Slot so much and so often that people started interpreting that as digs at Klopp (as recent as two weeks ago). Lad looks stoked to play, heâs one of the players in this squad who are the best suited to the type of footbal Slot wants to play. Mind boggles.
Unsurprising I guess but still strange given how he has in recent months also spoken positively about Jurgen.
I donât see us selling Jones now. Heâs playing either as a #10 or a #8. Probably the midfielder most equipped to cover all 3 roles if we needed, both single pivot roles and #10. Even with him weâre a bit thin (more questions around the futures of Endo and Elliott) and with our other needs elsewhere, wouldnât make much sense. His mission remains the same, stay fit for longer periods, be more consistent and add more numbers to his game.
I hope Jones stays for a long time to come. He is a smashing player and it is nice to have a local lad in the side. Obviously the smashing player part being the main thing.
âAccording to reportsâ is a strange phrase. What reports? No quotes, no reference, no wider momentum on this. So most likely it is nonsense. Still, we do expect a number of moves in summer and this could be something to watch, just in case.
I think 90% of stuff can be taken with a pinch of salt.
I am not saying Chiesa wonât leave but we had âreports in Italyâ saying he was off in January and it seemed to stem that he wasnât getting game time but he was injured for half of it.
âŠsome more of the Curtis report
Story by Lewis Oldham - Football 365
âŠInterestingly, Jones said before this season that he was loving life under Slot.
â[Slot is] amazing,â Jones told reporters. âItâs probably the happiest Iâve been in terms of a style of play that suits me.
âItâs a clear plan in training and heâs fully involved, coaching us a lot.â
Speaking on Jones earlier this season, Slot said: âHe enjoys to play football everyday, always with a smile. He always wants the ball. We had a struggle together.
âIn my opinion he touched the ball too much, but now he plays more simple, and that makes him more effective in what he does.
âGood work rate, good person as well, good player, he always wants the ball and heâs so comfortable when he has it.
âI think thatâs what makes him an all-round midfielder at the moment for us and for England as well.â
It got you lot to make 7 posts about it, and me to contribute an 8th.
I daresay whoever wrote that junk managed to achieve their goal.

As soon as you see football365 donât click on it, let alone bring it up on this forum as it is inevitably bullshit and falsehoods about Liverpool, it must be a manure supporters forum.
Weâre being linked with yet another Dutch player. No surprise there.
I believe this guy scored a heck of a goal on the weekend (© G. Lineker).
Liverpool are contemplating whether to make a move for Brightonâs Netherlands defender Jan Paul van Hecke, 24. (GiveMeSport)
Apparently, Napoli are also interested in this guy.
Heâs had a tough PL start at Brighton, really looked like a weak link in some of his early appearances. But has improved. Whether thatâs all enough for our level⊠not sure, not convinced.
