Are these cuts since Trump or from before?

I’m pretty sure they have had cuts before Trump (not sure about under Obama but i think that was the case under Bush Jr) and under Trump.

It’s a bit mad when you look at Trump’s entire career - all of it is just one con after another, usually targeting poor people to line his own pockets.
When you think of him as the highly experienced professional grifter he is, it does make sense that he still holds so much support. His supporters have bought in. They got conned into thinking he wants what is best for them and, despite many of them realising he doesn’t care, they are too invested to pull out now. In the same way that you sign up for Trump University and quickly find yourself paying $35k for a picture next to a cardboard cut out of Trump, or the way your Grandma keeps sending that Nigerian Prince $500 to unlock that hidden bank account. There comes a point where you can’t admit to yourself it is a con.
I have no doubt that the executions of these people will be used for fundraising.

The Texas AG is facing criminal bribery charges, and the case appears pretty cut and dried. This is roundly interpreted as him applying for a Presidential pardon.
If you think back to the recent Trump tax revelations, there was one break where he got up front rebates of about $70m to cover his supposed losses. The report from the NYT suggested these were fraudulent claims, and if pursued by the IRS would see Trump facing a bill of around 100m in pay backs, fees and penalties. The question then became why has it not been pursued, and the answer was that the rebates are given out on faith and only later investigated. Once Trump came into office he slashed funding for that specific office, despite it empirically being shown to more than pay for itself, as the IRS does in its totality.
the reality is the resources it takes to penalize me for not including one 1099 in my end of year tax return is trivial and millions of us can be overseen by a small group of investigators/administrators. It take a team to investigate even a single case like the one Trump submitted, and these cases are fairly routine for people who run businesses with sufficiently high revenue.

That honestly baffles me. But then there are people that believe Bill Gates heads up an international ring of super wealthy people that are trying to control the world and undertake some mass genocide.

There are actually people that believe that Bill Gates is behind Coronavirus and the vaccine is designed by him and filled with microbots and stuff that will change your DNA or kill you at the flip of the switch. Or be able to peek at your every action. This is all because Bill Gates said we need to reduce the Worlds population.
My point is that there are a lot of people that believe this. Sadly there are also people that believe Trump is looking after their interests. I find this baffling but then there’s the microbots…

I stopped short of the ‘genocide and depopulation conspiracy myths’ I don’t buy that at all, since obviously, they could easily do better. But there are a group of wealthy people that have far more influence over the West, at least, than they should. One of my favourite quotes:

My rule of thumb is never trust a politician, the office is degenerated. Yes Trump is an extreme example, but one of many.There are micro-drones though…

Would highly recommend Bryan Stevenson’s book Just Mercy. He spoke at my daughter’s school a few years ago and I’d never seen her in such awe. After reading it, I am too.
