Trump Org CFO, Allan Weisselberg, is being reported as reaching an agreement to plead guilty to all 15 felonies the NYS AG has brought against him. He’d previously been earmarked as completely solid, but it is now being reported that he will cooperate and testify in exchange for only a 5 month sentence.

This is a move that, baring some sort of M Night Shalaman twist, will show that Barr purposefully used the justice department to run cover for Trump as a preemptive response to what he knew was about to be released in the Mueller report. We already know Barr’s public comments majorly contradicted the findings of the report. What this memo is assumed to show is how brazenly political that was.
It’s kind of quaint to think that any needle could be moved at this point on the Russian 2016 story, but Im a sucker for false hope
