Thiago ALCANTARA: 2020/21

That news has just made me even more pissed off with that Everton game to be honest.

Almost feels like our whole season will hinge on that game, when the reality should be quite the opposite.

Fuck I’m frustrated all over again and it’s still Monday

Mrs Pickford won’t do it so why should we.

Based on what? I mean how do you even have the smallest of inklings on how he’s feeling?

I’ll never understand such comments.

We should send the people that persuaded Gerrard not to join chavski to prickford and Richarlison house to sort them out.

Not a fan of hurting Pickford as that would benefit the bitters.

To anyone writing him off, we need to bear in mind a shithouse absolutely did his knee. Everything else is conjecture.

…a Big-Nosed shithouse at that.!

Posted in the post match thread, today is officially 11 weeks since he was mauled.

3 months we’ve been without him. In context, he was out only 3 weeks after having groin surgery. Make no mistake, this is a really significant injury whatever it is he’s dealing with.

And whatever it is, it’s one of those Shaq type ones, if you think about Jota, it’s his knee it’s 6-8 weeks.

This is well he will be back in the new year maybe.

True, LFC signed a world-class midfielder some time ago. I had completely forgotten about him.

It’s as if nothing had been done. Same result.

I’m not, I have seen him play for Bayern often enough to know he is in a class of his own. Every presser I’m waiting to hear that he is back in team training. I impatiently watch every “inside training” video if I see him walk out, he is a difference-maker one who sets Mané and Salah with one little clever pass one on one with the goalkeeper.

He can make the life of our battered defence so much easier.

Have said it all along its long term injury but for some reason the club are not letting much info out about it.

Same here his quality, vision and technique is almost press resistant and will take our forward play to a new height as his passing is quick and progressive. Just gutted he aint fit

Both his performances have been very good and made me excited, oddly enough I had doubts about his fitness and then boom he hasn’t shown up since.

It is a concern as unlike Jota, Becker and others it is so vague.

The ‘positive’ is it came from an absolutely reckless tackle. He might be injury prone, but would be too early to judge given how he got injured this time. Either of Keita or Thiago would have helped us convert that one point yesterday to 3. Can’t wait for him to be back, been a while have been this excited of a signing.

Problem is right a lot of people raised the issue with Thiago that he was quite injury prone.

Yes I take that his injury is as a result of a really bad tackle however his recovery time is an issue also.

He has already missed 1/3 of the season and I’m
Not sure if there is any news of him coming back just yet.

Calling him injury prone might not be justified, but if he is the player who pulls the strings in his side, he is obviously going to get roughed up a bit. Maybe him being targeted by opposition and a long time to recover from knocks explains his past injury record and his current injury.
