A bit surprised it’s not longer than 4 years, but that isn’t really a concern with Trent. Unless post Klopp things really go sideways, Trents gonna play his peak years here.

I actually feel like there’s part of him that will wait and see in coming years. I’m not yet at the point of thinking/trusting that he’ll remain here for the rest of his (top level) playing career. Highly ambitious lad. But good news and for now there’s nothing to worry about of course. Hopefully he’s fit and healthy to start hitting those consistent levels again.
It depends on us really doesn’t it.
If we keep challenging and winning trophies there really wouldn’t be a reason for a local lad like Trent to want to leave.
If we regress and struggle for champions league then it’s anybodies guess.
Can never blame a player for wanting to leave to go somewhere where he feels he is likely to be successful. (It is great however when in the likes of Coutinho it goes completely tits up)

I mentioned this earlier a while back, I hope the new challenge for him later would be playing in the midfield for us rather than moving somewhere else.
