Probably full of shite but listening to a podcast with a former Liverpool academy lad who grew up with Trent and him and the interviewers are saying he’s an Everton fan in which the footballer agrees :joy:. Surely not Trent……

Great channel also btw if anyone likes these things

Doesn’t really matter, Fowler was wasn’t he?

Liverpool gave him the chance to achieve dreams, you’d be lucky to achieve a cheer at Everton.

Carragher was a blue growing up as well.

£67m? What are they planning to do with just one of his feet?!

Doubt £67m even comes close to one of his toes…

I suspect Trent has zero interest in leaving Liverpool FC.

One of his feet? They’d be lucky to land a toenail with that.

Needs to do better than today. The way he let Mitrovic go in the first minute and then the rest that followed. We don’t have to exaggerate anything, but there’s no excuse for some of that stuff.

I don’t think he’s ever going to cut out his defensive frailties, it’s just who he is as a character. He wants to be up the pitch, he’s happiest and enjoying his football most when he’s on the ball and able to spray those passes or whip those balls in. Tracking back is just not his game…especially not big tall strikers in the air…we saw it in the community shield and we saw it today.

I think someone posted the Sky version of the clip in the post match thread, which is region locked to UK viewers only. Here is one without region restrictions.

Worrying.

:worried:

What his form or is there something else?

No indication he is hurt, but its the second game in a row he’s been subbed off with a good amount of the game left to play and needing a goal. Very likely a case of physical management, but the fact Milner did so poorly in his place after coming on changes the equation in terms of how to rest him. Gomez has done commendably out there, but he isnt the same player, and relying on him being an option there does limit our ability to retain a stable CB partnership (or at least robs Joe of the opportunity of being part of that).
