So, I guess the announcement of his summer move to Spain will be made in January then? Hopefully it won’t distract him too much until the summer, and he’ll bow out with a great season and hopefully another trophy, fingers crossed.

What an obnoxious Interviewer, no charisma or personality and baiting questions

Not the first time. I’ve noticed with these England ITV interviews that the whole atmosphere is so dark. Too serious tone, pauses between questions and answers. Even words. Like some sort of interrogation.

F*ck me, it’s a game of football.

Just watched a FourFourTwo youtube video and have shared a clip with regards to Trent, great analysis.

Get the feeling Arne has spoken to TAA a few times, and given the lad a reality check about the flaws in his game, forever tussling with his exceptional talents.
If he can keep up with the improvements, we may end up with the complete footballer

I wonder if he’s putting in performances like the one against Leipzig in order for us, fans, to accept his move to Real Madrid easier. His languid behaviour last night did my head in a few times - I don’t know if it was something fitness related but he lost the ball three times near his area because he dallied on it and kept spraying long passes that ended up at the feet of Leipzig players.

I think Slot mentioned something about this a few weeks ago.

I think you are seeing things that aren’t there.

It’s not a foregone conclusion that he’ll leave, and even if he does, the last thing he’ll be thinking is to make it more palatable for fans by playing like shit.

It was a joke! I did express my concern that it could have been something fitness related, which Slot subsequently confirmed. Don’t take gallows humour away from me…

The interesting thing about this is yet another example of us setting up based on our expectation of how they will play (remember Slot telling us exactly what he knew Utd would do and how we would position our guys to exploit it). You would think we are not too far away from the first manager pulling a switcheroo and going with a different look against us to see if they can throw us off balance and take advantage of it before we’ve adjusted. The good thing is that inherent in our approach is the flexibility of us being able to tweak our shape to adjust so Im sure we’d adapt. But it could be an interesting chess matchage of us

Only slight problem in that is having the time to do it.
