Ajax and Atalanta are tricky but it’s a decent group for us. Not too bad. Could definitely have been worse

Hehe. They are okay, but I know the approximate level of Danish football, it is a bit better than Norwegian football. But not by miles. Not by very much. And so unless we have unfortunate off days and they play at their maximum potential, we should comfortably beat them.

Exciting group, with two proper footballing sides in Ajax and Atalanta. I certainly don’t expect to end the group stages with 18 points, but to top the group stages.
The overriding relief for me is avoidance of any major long haul travel.

Group B is a proper European Cup group that is. Real Madrid, Inter, Shakhtar Donetsk, Monchengladbach. Group G’s a nice one too (Barcelona, Juventus, Dynamo Kyiv, Ferencvaros).
Can’t have any complaints with our group. Gutted that the away fans won’t get to go to Bergamo (Atalanta), lovely region of the world.
