I only watched for 15-20 minutes, and they were passing the ball in the back like the Barca or Man City, and Villa were comfortably defending.
I then quit the game, and maybe they are great when you see them scoring goals. Entirely possible I just happened to watch the boring part. 
You could tell Villa were tiring. They had a good game plan; defended well and were quite disciplined, but this was a level beyond themā¦
It will take a catastrophy by PSG for the 2nd leg to be differentā¦

PSG adding the third at the end reflects the balance of the game a bit better. They looked like they had margin to spare and I fully expect them to advance.
Arsenal put in a great display last night. Imagine the scenes if they knuckle down and advance against European Royalty, Real Madrid. They will be giddy with excitement and their fans will be telling the world that they are going to win the CL, having despatched the best team.
Howeverā¦
To my eye PSG are the best team, or possibly Barcelona. I expect that to be the final, but Iām getting ahead of myself, letās see it play out.

Iām more and more convinced they are focused on the CL to the point I wouldnāt be surprised if Brentford take points off them on Saturday.
Paris it will be interesting to see how they do, theyāve won their league which at times in the past has been an Achilles heel.
Barca meanwhile will be glad to have the 4th as they are ahead but by all means not enough of Madrid in their league.
Inter or Bayern is a toss up. The former also in a tight title battle.

If Arse manage to beat RM then the final will be Arse vs Barca as it stands, it is a bit premature to dismiss Inter or Bayern but I have a feeling both those teams will not make the final.

Arse still have a lot of work to do. Only a beautiful memory Barca like fuck up can stop them meeting PSG. They deserve to progress now.
Then they officially lose the League and crash out of CL in the same week.

I really hope Arsenal donāt win it - and I generally canāt stand Liverpoolās rivals winning CL or EL. Beating Real Madrid will get some wind in their sails, though.
That said, if Inter are as disciplined against Bayern as they were throughout the season when they last reached the final, they will pose a problem for any team. Their players mostly donāt possess the individual quality found in sides like Real Madrid but Inzaghi gets them playing as a team and thatās what makes them dangerous.

Doubt Inter would stand a chance if Bayern were not missing Musiala, Davies, Neuer, Coman and Upamecano.

I had Inter as slight favourites before the first match and I think they will go through. Nothing much against this Bayern. Inter were in the final and competed well not long ago, plus that side hasnāt changed much. A very solid, rounded and experienced side. Itās really not so surprising to see the likes of Arsenal and Inter in the final stages of the competition. Some of the best teams in Europe.

Rashford didnāt have a lot to work with. PSG mostly had Villa pegged back and so to relieve the pressure they hit it long to Rashford. Most of the PSG players are fast and strong, and Rashford didnāt get any change out of them and was usually outnumbered too.
Iām glad that the fella has started to play a bit of footy again, and find some of his form, after being frozen out by Amorim - who has been terrible so far.
With that said, not many strikers will get any joy against PSG, especially if their team is getting outplayed and pegged back.

I do as well however when we were interested I.n Bellingham he waited until after the CL final before he chose where to go. I have a funny feeling Trent might change his mind about RM if Arse take them out.
If they beat RM then they will beat PSG in my opinion as Villa were lacking in several departments last night. I still hope Emery proves me wrong and they win next week.
I sincerely hope you are right to relieve the pressure off our supporters and we avoid crawling over the line.
