Juventusâ gamble on Ronaldo failed spectacularly. They went from a CL quarterfinals team and Serie A champions the year before on a stable platform, and threw the dice on Ronaldo being the difference maker to get them a CL title. His first year, they did exactly the same thing at much greater expense. The next year, Serie A but not even the quarters. The year after that, barely qualifying. They have been left with a side that was allowed to age out without much renewal, and in a financial hole. It will take them a while to undo that folly.

Yet there are certain people on Twitter who donât see the damage itâs done.
Theyâve skipped straight to the Juve of last season, Ronaldo would show up everyone would say he is great then he goes missing for 3 games. After all what did he offer on Tuesday they needed him? Total sum of fuck all.
