PSG have beaten all four English sides this season. Us, Man City, Aston Villa and Arsenal. Putting their state ownership aside, Luis Enrique is extremely likeable, and he’s done well to put together a team. Think they’ll fall short against Inter. Inzaghi is another coach who has done so well. Someone I hoped we were considering when Klopp announced his departure, but he doesn’t want to leave Italy and cannot speak English.

They did beat them - 2:0 at home in the second round of group stage fixtures. It was part of a run of 4 games without a win (3 losses and a draw) that put them in the position of needing to win their last few games to even qualify for the play off round.

I bought my ticket on eBay from a bloke in Perth whose boss wouldn’t give him time off work. I flew from Sydney to Istanbul on 3 flights that took 42hours. My gf lived in Munich and flew down to Istanbul to meet me. The only hotel I could find was The Hotel Splendid on an island in the Bospherus.
Me and me gf were at Taksim Sq all day and then I left to go to the game. I was sat 10 rows back over the halfway line.
What a game!! What a day. What a night!! After the game all the Liverpool supporters went … somewhere! I can’t remember.
I got back to my GF the next afternoon about 2pm. She had to get to the airport to get home to Munich.
20 years!!! We’re now married with 2 kids and living in Brisbane. Istanbul was and remains the best night of my life. YNWA.
And just because @cog is too old to have remembered that he’s forgotten what treasured memories can be doesn’t mean they dont’ exist.

I struggle to understand how it is ‘snowflake’ to have fond memories and enjoy reliving them 20 years later. Istanbul will never be topped.
