UEFA Champions League

Is it because of injuries? He was playing well when he first joined but suffered a big one. From memory, I can’t remember him having a lengthy run in the team since then and assumed either his level had dropped because of it or he just keeps picking up more minor injuries - and Ole seems to have a thing about overtraining players. The Bailly Utd signed seemed a far better player than either Lindelof or Maguire.

Nicely done Grujic.

Grujic is having quite the game atm.

Gee Grujic is playing well. Only some quality saves has got in his way. Porto impressive but the Italians will find a way…

RM drawing, SHK nearly scored again.

Quality goal from RM to got 2-1 up. Why do they need Mbappe when they have the extortionist?

Could do with an AC Milan equaliser really.

watching Porto trying to set up that wall is a calamity. how long do they get, 60 seconds?

That Goncalves for Sporting looks like a really good player, can’t see him being there for much longer.

Interesting group.

Sporting have the better goal difference but head to head comparison is the more important criteria in the CL and Dortmund won 1-0 against Sporting.

Dortmund will travel to Lisbon after the international break and they will be without Hummels and Haaland.

Is he the guy we were quoted £80m for in the summer?

Hmm not sure, can’t say I paid much attention to the summer rumours. 23 goals from midfield last season though so that kind of price being quoted doesn’t surprise me. His second goal tonight was a lovely finish.

Gini’s second goal tonight is a bit like his goal against Rome in 2018.

Still 167 club games in a row without an assist from open play.
