I think I can safely say weāre all Betis fans tonight. I might even dig out my old Joaquin shirt, which I bought at the club shop in Seville when we played them in the Champions League in 2005.

Who was the poster who really hated Adrian for some reason. Was it @Sweeting?
I donāt know about who hated Adrian the most, but it would be wonderful if Real Betis managed to win. Not because I hate Chelsea (tbh, there isnāt a Premier League team I really hate, just many i donāt like in a certain order), but because it would be very good for football.
Now, I know many in England naturally want an English team to win everything in Europe. It is the kind of Nationalism that isnāt dangeorus and which I allow myself too (I mean, I tend to cheer for Norwegian teams, though not all of them). I think it not only harmless in sports, but actually a good and socially useful valve , so to speak, for such patriotic sentiments to come out.
But football romantism is more important , I would argue. And in any case, I am not English. And again, it is very good for the sport if non-English teams wins European cups. It makes these cups more important when it is not just the left over cup of the rich and mighty that does not truly appreciate it anyway. Real Betis would have far better use of both the glory and the financial price for winning.

Okay so he had a mare against Atletico but we should have won that match earlier with our chances. Plus he was always a decent deputy.

I donāt think I have even criticised him in harsh words ever. I responded to a comment above. I tend to defend players that donāt get matching, because I expect them to be rusty. He had some unfortunate games though, but I donāt think I have ever reacted with anger regarding him. Certainly not hate
