UEFA Europa League

Wasn’t it City CP beat in the final? Or am I losing my mind already?

City in the FA cup… but United were beaten by Spurs in the Europa League final, which is the competition the new vacancy exists in

Aren’t they done by league positions. Palace qualified by the English qualification route so yeah Brighton is the next club.

That would doubly hurt for Palace.

Damn, I never thought about them being ‘rivals’

If true, is there anything Forest does that doesn’t make them even more dislikeable?

With their owner it wouldn’t surprise me.

Will be gutting for Palace if they don’t get to participate.

Yet the rules are pretty clear - if you’re a big club you get to pretend you dont also own another club in the same competition and everyone moves on

The club was founded in 1902 as Be Quick by the Hollander brothers. The name was changed to Go Ahead at the request of the Dutch Football Association in 1905, to avoid confusion with another team.

I have so many questions…

Always assumed it was some sponsorship name so you learn something new.

Context to why Maccabi tel aviv fans banned.
Not surprisingly, racism across Israeli football is endemic - hopefully other football clubs follow Villa’s lead.

It wasn’t VIlla that banned them, it was the West Midlands police that made that decision. But it was still the right call to make.
