UEFA Europa League

Now I think it likely that the round is done. 3-0 is too much. Ah, well, well played and GG to Bodø. Getting to the Semi Finals is very fucking good indeed.

Slightly surprised about VAR though. The penalty situation was no clear error by the ref. But never mind.

The premier league teams are wiping the floor with the rest of European teams and the pundits have the cheek to say we have had it given on a plate.
All the papers the day after we beat spuds published loads of stats that shows why we have walked the league.

I don’t much care they will buy shit again, make the same mistakes again and be laughable again.

Probably a bonus in a way. Plus we are champions so lolz.

You’d find some bad news for Liverpool with some other result anyhow Nikola.

I don’t understand what these games have to do with us or our title, myself.

Yeah, but Utd are turning a corner. They are going to be a dangerous side on the other side of this

You can still give a red on a pen for things that werent a legit attempt to win the ball. So pulling/holding essentially.

There we go. Saltnes again. A game again, like I predicted. 3-1 in London is ok for Bodø. Now the quest is just to avoid more Tottenham goals and this will be a very interesting game in Bodø.

Bothers me greatly Utd can play like utter fucking turds all season long yet be 1 game away from being in the same competition as us next season, £50m prize money just like that, by beating shit worthless teams like Sosobad and Billbags.

It shouldn’t, but it does.

Tottenham will likely get through with a 2 goal cushion. But it won’t be comfortable and far from as comfortable as you think. On that, I think I can almost make a guarantee.

Of course, Spurs may get another now, different story, then i think it is over. But it’s not over with 2, just very difficult. It would be wonderful if Spurs thought it was over though. Bodø/Glimt usually wins by 1 goal in Europe at home, so it is going to be very rough ofc. But Spurs is going to hate this away game so fucking much.

Glimt chasing another now. If they get it, I am pretty sure Glimt and not Tottenham, will be in the final. I don’t see Tottenham advancing with only a 1 goal cushion.

3-1, an exciting result for the Home game. Not over.

Much now depends on the weather a week from now, I suspect.

Ok, weather looks like it is going to probably be too good, so advantage Tottenham, unfortunately.

As much as I like the Glimt fairytale they ain’t a hope in hell of beating Utd on a neutral ground.

Spurs can so its go Spurs.

Especially with far from neutral refs.

The last two United games have seen very biased arbitration.

Oh,I agree that Glimt has little chance in a final on neutral ground. But it’s still probably a decent 5-10% chance, because it’s football.

But I understand your position well. But me, I want to see the fairy tale to it’s completion, and right now, it’s very tough, but doable on a good day.

Anyway, I am a football romantic, so you’ll see me enthusiastically cheer underdogs when there is no norwegian link there too. I have always been very fond of that particular magic in football. Sadly, it will likely end up being two English teams in the finals, which is terribly pedestrian and not very romantic at all.

Bodo/Glimt have done really well to make the semis considering the size of the town. The commentator mentioned that there were more people in the Spuds stadium(61000) than the population of Bodo(43000).
As you said it is not over as Spurs might do a Spursy at home.

That is true.

But statistics and history (from this season and the one before) also shows that they have a pretty good chance of a result at home. This season, so far it’s only Qarabag that managed to win there (which is funny because they might be among the weakest teams)

Glimt’s pitch is artificial (it has to be due to Bodø’s location and the art of growing grass with little sunlight). Now it is a very, very good artificial pitch indeed. But the ball goes faster on it, so if you are used to it, you have an advantage and Bodø is very good at click-click-click fast offensive play on that very surface. If heaven is a friend and King Winter gets interested in having a say (he can theoretically do so in early May in Bodø) or Tor conjures up a storm and hellish wind, it affects Bodø less than opponents. So we’ll see. I think with 2 goals, Tottenham must be said to be favorites, but I really do have Bodø as favorites to win the game itself. But beating Spurs by 2-3 goals is however a big ask. Extra Time not that unlikely though.

Actually a fantastic documentary.

I do not want Man Utd winning this. It will be an undeserved fast track to potentially start to right the ship, when based on their league showing, they belong nowhere near the Champions League.

I think Spurs are the only side that can beat them, and that looks like it will be the final. If that’s how it pans out, come on you Spurs! Do it for your manager. He’s a good red.
