OK, conspiracy theory here. Truss was offered the most lethal of poison chalices. Mogg and Gove now lining up leadership once she gets thoroughly Caesared. You can be PM for a month to implement some new financial benefits for our mates but then we need to axe you.

Someone from Daily Mail is saying similar to the post above - that a Tory MP is telling them a significant number of no confidence letters have gone in and they think the PM is toast. Apparently its not just the budget that is the issue but the whole approach.

No, Labour will win in 2024. They’ll inherit an economy already purposively ruined, leaving Labour no room to do much but bandage the country up. This they will just about manage but not be given enough credit for in the 2029 election and the vampires will return.
