Read the article, this is lunacy. The EU is doing something similar as well.
Perhaps the ones better versed in this like @Arminius can correct me, but from articles I’ve read like this, it mainly affects older facilities, and would impede their ability to invest on maintenance/upgrades?
That’s why I said earlier that this party, or at least the part represented by that asshole, shouldn’t be called conservative anymore. They are anything but conservative.
Instead since leadership campaign Truss has been talking negatively about Sturgeon and her Welsh equivalent and has continued doing so since taking office.
Quite amusing in some ways. They’ve spent years selling “their stuff” to their supporters only to find that those supporters have continued on that same path to vote for Truss while they were hoping for something a tad more sensible perhaps.
Someone mentioned above (we all know the drill of the media etc) that the Tories will wait for things to pick up in say a year before the scheduled election, and then start looking for things to attack labour, if al Jazeera has this going about starmers labour, you can guarantee the British press probably have this and more just waiting to be printed in the coming year
Firstly, I skimmed through the article, and it was conspicuously lacking in any form of perspective from anyone who didn’t have an axe to grind after being sidelined.
Secondly, that website just reads like conspiracy nutcase central.
There might be merit to some of the claims, but to claim that they are authoritative is a huge stretch.
Plus the supposed content of the article would probably endear Labour to the Tory voters anyway.
