She just sounds smug and stupid , which is precisely what she is. I can’t think of a less impressive person who has ever stood at that despatch box.

I’ve stood at the dispatch box so I take that as a compliment

To be fair, you aren’t smug.

I associate myself with that comment, brilliantly it has to be said.

I flew round that one, didn’t want to get flamed.

As long as she stayed away from pork and cheese(or speaking) she should be okay.

I was VERY lucky that when I got my first regular employment, the lad who arranged my mortgage also told me that I should get a pension. I got both and it was hard at first. Some years down the line on a tea break at work the subject of finances (mortgages/outgoings etc) came up. I mentioned my pension contributions and the lads I worked with asked why I paid. It turned out that there was a company pension scheme that was doing so well that everyone in it was contribution free. This was the first that myself and another lad who started the same day as me were aware of the company scheme.
We went to see the personnel/HR lady about it and she asked why we never signed up after we’d been told about it on our ‘Induction Day’? We explained what we’d not been told very much about anything and certainly not the pension scheme. We also told her that we both had private pensions. She said that she’d look into it.
Two days later she sent for us and told us that we were both in the scheme with our joining dates backdated to our first day of employment. She also (again very luckily) told us to carry on paying into our private pensions.
Without those two pieces of advice and the good fortune of that chat at break time my finances would be fecked and I’d still have my nose to the grindstone.

How did the LibDem managed to lose points in this situation

Any idea how many seats these figures mean?

Tactical voting perhaps - Labour may be best placed in some of those seats to beat conservatives, so lib dems switch ?

Maybe people still hold a grudge after they jumped into bed with Camerons Government.
