UK Politics Thread (Part 2)

You obviously didn’t see Charles’ reaction to Lithium Liz last week.

I did, lol. It was amusing.
Still, I note that Liz is trying hard.

Brilliant sarcasm about the conservative MP’s now raging and ranting, deploring Hunt’s U-turn, thinking that there are actual unicorns after Brexit:

These people at the Conservative press are getting payed a lot of money for their opinions, and many people read them and actually trust their judgement:

Just saw that clip with Walker. I know nothing about him and dont know how deep he has been in the absurdity of the previous leadership (or the one before that), but it’s his comment on talentless people that really hits the nail for me.

Alright, I am trolling a bit now (hope none takes too much offence), but I thought this was spot on.

I bet the Tory MP’s are regretting forcing Boris out supporting Liz Truss and equally the Tory party members for voting her in. She just doesn’t have the persona to be a PM, whenever she speaks it just drains you of any confidence in her.
I believe that a change of government is the only way forward. I am not a fan of Sir Keir Starmer, however, i would support him and would like to see how he implements Labour’s policies. I do believe in the concept of renationalising certain institutions which i think he is steering away from.

Fracked in the morning, she’s getting fracked in the mooooorning!

The funny thing is its all entirely self-inflected. Scientists believe there are several different forms of intelligence. This is dumb on most of them.

There is

Interpersonal intelligence : which is the ability to interact with others judge others feeling, mood temperament… like your fellow MPs and constituents.

Language intelligence: This involves sensitivity to the meaning of words. How communicating something like a confidence vote will be perceived.

Intrapersonal intelligence: Being able to self reflect and understand your own shortcomings and how actions could be career limiting.

Logical intelligence: If I do x, y is going to happen. considering the logic and timing of debating a a sensitive topic like fracking. When it goes against your own manifesto.

Naturalistic intelligence: Understanding the nuances of nature…and well it is fucking fracking.

To say this government is failing at the basics is an understatement.
