UK Politics Thread (Part 2)

My guess is that they were not former Conservatives. Perhaps Labour returners? I would also guess that since Corbyn stepped down, the number of members has declined, so just getting people joining again is a big plus for the party. However, it may just be hyperbole by the party due to the momentum and events in the news.

It’s alright everyone, Everything is going to be fine as Cramer has just commented - and pretty much the opposite of what he says comes true!

Not even third world countries would see this circus act take place so often. How the hell haven’t they proclaimed a general election? How many PMs is the threshold?

At least it’s entertaining.

It’s a bit sad that it is like watching darts.

I see it more like “where’s the popcorn while watching a movie” than “life and death” - which is what it actually is.

Our antipathy(?) to governance (and its process), disinvestment in society as a whole and lack of regard for education as a nation is proving to be completely inadequate and will broaden the gulf between the haves and have nots. It seems we are Italy/Greece/Egypt or any number of has been states. I’m not advocating being a “great power”, along the lines of Russia, just a power that can enable its inhabitants, equally, to be successful!

I guess the reset is too difficult to implement and we will, like always, have to muddle through.
