What is your reading of these āearlyā declarations of ānot running againā?
Who is behind this?
Could it be the formation of a new party and these not running will get what they hope will be safe seats further south?

They have needed to declare their intention to stand by a certain date I think. Add in marginal majorities in these seats and a shit show of a government, their performance and the general anger across the UK they are literally leaving the sinking ship.

Obviously know they are going to get their arses handed to them at the next election, so why bother spending a significant amount of time and energy only to lose your job?

My mum had to go to A&E yesterday, she was told there was a 9 hour wait for an ambulance.
She went in a taxi instead, was seen to after 5 hours and discharged 3 hours later.
