Just noticed this is the UK politics thread, a couple on here are continually going off subject and causeing confusion to get their stupid points across, whatever they are.

Seems as though reports of the strike being suspended were wrong

our mortgage interest rates are nearing 6% now. Saw my neighbor cash out, listed his house at $1.45 and it sold in a day. New owners are probably taking a wash on it now, property isn’t worth $1.1m.
