Maybe they got lucky? I think from the period 2020-22 organised leave was a non-starter. This year they have been unable to get and more than 6 days synchronised. They work in completely different departments which possibly doesn’t help.

Or possibly is helpful. Losing 2 key members of staff from the same department (for the same period) is trickier than 2 separate ones.

There are some things that can be done

  • Bring criminal proceedings in the most egregious fraud cases.

  • Strip perpetrators of titles and privileges.

  • Embed the idea that the Conservatives facilitated mass fraud of the taxpayer in every voting subconscious.

This is why we need a benevolent dictatorship. With only me voting for the dictator.

I’m thinking back through your previous comments on things like petty theft, and wondering if benevolent is quite the right word?
