No one watches it. The only reason you hear about it is because of left wing pundits complaining about how awful it is. I mean an ordinary member of the public was once exposed to it in a cruel experiment. I donāt think it went well:

Indeed. I canāt think of a worse pm to have at a worse time, other than Truss maybe.
But there had to be some brains somewhere. You donāt go setting up privileged procurement routes, favoured contracts, MPs with sudden business interests in PPE without a brain or two and some networking.

Maybe, I just find it ironic that they were quick and creative enough to find ways of increasing their personal wealth by milking public money but couldnāt manage shit when it came to public health.

So far this enquiry has just been about useless government but these events are planned for. Iām interested to see what the senior civil servants have to say because they will have opened the files and told the ministers what they should be doing.
Iām pretty sure that they have done this at some stage because I recognised some of the procedures put in place for communications and vaccinations. (At least what the Scottish government were doing which is mainly what I was involved in.)
From a UK government point of view it looks like they simply ignored emergency planning and tried to see how they could make money out of the situation.
