Am I not allowed to introduce a new topic? In fact this has come up previously and is important for the reasons I have stated.
I have lived in London and spend time there every year visiting friends. Yes, it’s probably more dangerous than Tunbridge Wells, but it’s been a major city since Roman times, and has been much more dangerous in most of its history than now. The rates of serious crime are falling, and there are numerous sources to show that if The Economist is too far left for you.
For the cohesion of UK society, and the safety and well being of all it’s citizens, it’s vital that fearmongering is confronted.

So your defence to Partisan point scoring, is making a rhetorical statement?

Nothing in your reply supports the reason for me pulling up @sbym. I pulled him up because his first comment was to laugh off the importance of the matter as “RWNJ’s” making false statements.
It has nothing to do with LW articles, I am happy to hear both sides of a story and make my own mind up, are you???

Why are you so keen to mock me by claiming the Economist is too far left for me? What, on the premise of one article. You posted the original article and have yet to justify or support its content, or the reasoning for you posting it.
All I did was highlight the vagueness of their facts and state it was not a reason for celebration. Do you think it is a reason for celebration?

You can provide me with stats to support the point of serious crime falling, stats mean fuck all. Just like your YouGov comment of Starmer maybe being stronger by leaning himself with Europe from a poll of 2000 odd people.
Crime and disorder across the UK is as bad as it has ever been. Fuck trying to dismiss it as a Reform scare mongering tactic and Fuck believing everything to be all and well in London because Sadiq Khan tells us so. People are scared and do not feel safe, irrelevant of any political party.

I am not trying to fall out with you or anyone, I have never suggested people vote for Reform infact quite the opposite. I don’t see them as the answer to the UK’s problems but at the same time I don’t see Labour as the answer.
I will vote Lib Dem at the locals, purely because the candidate is the only one who has actually took the time to visit the neighbourhood and engage in direct conversation.

I am happy to engage with anyone on this site in a balanced debate about British Politics. People, including myself need to be more accepting of other peoples lived experience rather than calling them out in a black and white manner and stereotype them as being Right or Left wing, as there are a lot more colours in the spectrum, of which I know you are all aware of.
