A champion of the poor and critic of the undeservingly wealthy?
Bet the gammons would love him.

What I canât get my head round is that in the last Tory leadership contest, Badenoch was endorsed by Britain First..
She is just a tool in the Conservative party to make them look less racist, she admitted herself.
This was explained to you several months ago. It either didnt sink in or you ignored it, again.
I thought Iâd mistakingly skipped back a few months on this thread
Badenoch
So just to clarify it is neither RW or LW and also subjective.
As far as I can see, Dickens did not coin âGammon Tendencyâ or explain its meaning. Infact, he used it a number of times in different stories.
Copied from Dorset eye.
âIn Dickensâs work, âgammonâ often carried the connotation of deceit or nonsense. This usage aligns with the termâs slang meaning during the 19th century, where âgammonâ could imply trickery or humbug. Dickensâs adeptness at capturing the colloquial language of his characters allowed him to use âgammonâ effectively to convey the social dynamics and attitudes of his era.
One notable example of Dickens using âgammonâ can be found in his novel âNicholas Nickleby.â In Chapter 16, the character John Browdie uses the term while conversing with Nicholas:
ââGammon!â said John.â
In this context, âgammonâ is used as an exclamation to dismiss something as foolish or deceitful. Browdieâs use of the term reflects his no-nonsense attitude and skepticism towards what he perceives as insincerity or dishonesty.
Another example is from âThe Pickwick Papers,â where âgammonâ appears in a dialogue to signify deceit or a ploy:â
It appears that the Term, has misinterpreted and jumped on by (according to searches) the left as a way of stereotyping white males they consider RW.
I understand that the common understanding is not restricted by Nationality, so it is applied to white Australian, New Zealand, (etc) nationals, who have a âmisplaced patriotic prideâ. Thankfully, we do not have anyone on this forum who could fall into category .
And 5 of those utterly hopeless and unsuitable
I did.
I already did.
Stuck it right above my raised eyebrows
You have this idea that having something explained means the explainer is correct.
Please answer the two following questions.
Is it an insult?
Is it targeted purely at white people?

Just edited the post above even with pictures
Try harder.
Assuming someone with non-white skin cannot become flushed when frothing about the latest right-wing nonsense seems a bit racist to me.
Pretty gammony.
Maybe the question we should be asking is, why are so many old white blokes so flushed all the time?
Answer the two simple questions or accept Iâ right. Your choice.
She announced herself on the big stage by calling Partygate overblown.
I should have added aggressive to arrogant and stupid.
Theyâve learnt nothing, she wonât be the leader at the next GE.
