You argued that rejoining the EU would be worthless with regards to trade. I proved it wasn’t, you then confirmed it.

You’re just being awkward for the sake of it, exactly as staunch brexiteers do. Deny reality.

There’s actual evidence this happened and prior tovthe brexit referendum.

Double down now.

She is really something.

Actually agree with her, let them have something similar and see where the covid money went (besides dodgy UC advance claims,)

That’s not what is happening in the US.

Where do you think it went??

Into the pockets of Tory cronies.

The Guardian article you posted was based on an LSE analysis, actually. Did you even read it?

Yeah i think that was the point.

Yeah, but a DOGE style thing wont find it. It would never be intended to. It is purely about slashing government costs no matter the cost to others.

Throw a few dodgy claims of fraud in and everyone loves it while they’re sratching their heads at less support.

But yes the principle of looking at government waste is a good one. It is a massive problem

I don’t think I have ever seen a clip of GB news before, but that it beyond terrible. She just spouts Putin’s propaganda as fact. No wording of ā€œPutin claims thatā€¦ā€ or the like.

Tugendhat does come across as reasonable, even if you don’t agree with him. I rather liked that he lumped Mosely and Halifax together. Many Tories like to rather forget the latter inconvenient truth.

Tom Tugendhat is pretty much the last sane Tory left. He keeps standing for the leadership, and he keeps getting wiped out in the first round. They are crazy. He would absolutely walk a general election, and that’s coming from a Labour Supporter.

Except he would need to throw out approximately 80% of the other MPs. John Major had some fairly clued up individuals in his cabinet, but the public discourse was all about the S.H.1.T.s. I think any government would be knackered when the bulk of the opposition is from within their own ranks.

Tugenhat is a bit of a throwback to when some of them were serious people.

Don’t you just need to pop down Matt Hancock’s local to find that out?

Guess what Truss is planning:

Someone put a muzzle on her.

I’d have thought that ā€œPatriotic Britsā€ want what’s best for Britain.

And that’s the polar opposite of what Truss and Trump are selling.

I dont think it is needed, no one pays any attention to her do they? Also, Reform and some voices in the Conservatives already have much of that message space so I think this is just for the American audience?

She may be universally dismissed and ridiculed at the moment, but she and her ilk shouldn’t be underestimated.

Especially, if she’s launching a ā€œfree-speechā€ network in Europe as she claims.

She does love her ā€˜no true Scotsman’ fallacies, doesn’t she?
