Searched around a number of UK news outlets for this story and the only one that leads with “wanted to drive tank into mosque” and “Hitler loving” is the Telegraph.
Everyone else led with “nerdy” or at best “mad scientist”.

I’ve been quite surprised at Sky’s framing on a lot of their articles about the government this year.
Perhaps not winning the constituencies, but he can peel off votes so labour are at risk of losing - and perhaps tie up resources that they wouldnt otherwise need to. One only has to look at the Leicester constituencies Labour lost at the General election as an example of how this can impact things.
Its also another tier of ‘filter’ the government have to break through.
I can imagine how he’d be described if he was a young Muslim doing this kind of stuff, and it would be much worse than just a bit of a “nerd”

I would repeat the same thing I said about how Trumpism was present in the UK before Trump got elected. Bannon test drove the Trump strategy in Europe before he was able to utilize it on Trump in 2016. Trump’s relationship with Orban is not an organic one, but one he inherited from Bannon.
There are individual flavors to this in different countries, but the levers being pulled are not only the same, its often same cunts doing it across a range of countries and in most ways Trump is only taking advantage of the same forces that his me too international versions are.
