UK Politics Thread (Part 4)

Off topic I know, but we really need to come up with a super solid, almost scary response to the “it’s only 0.043%” argument that gets touted all the time.

Thank you. An excellent post, some brilliant stats in this.

A MUST READ, if ever there was one.

The online commentary over these attacks is disgusting. It’s rank, outright racism. I am sick of being told I have to temper my choice of words for fear of causing offence to these delicate little flowers, who have absolutely no problem vilifying entire cultures of people on the basis of no information.

There is a desperation amongst some people for this to have been an illegal immigrant or a Muslim. Preferably both.

The fact that he wasn’t, and neither were most of them when they go in two footed like this, isn’t going to stop them at all. They don’t care they were wrong.

What the UK needs is better access to guns, then the knife-guy would have been stopped by a good guy with a hand-gun and the train would have arrived at KC on time.

What the UK needs, is a guy in the clouds, pummeling the gun-guy with lightning, then the knife-guy would have been stopped by a good or bad guy with a hand-gun, before it all ended with a flash.
A proper hierarchy of security and freedom. Knife-guy and gun-guy free to do what they want, but there would be final consequences and it would have been the End Of.

I will now cry and shed tears, until my very soul is drier than Tutankhamun’s corpse, as the Forum’s Joker refused to recognice my valiant attempt at humour.

I am lost now, drifting in agonised anguish, confused. What am I to do ? What is my purpose ? How am I to live ? I now open my eyes and see. I see the sea, it is black in the late evening. The wind blows, it is cold. Rain is lashing. All I can think of is walking down to the stony strand. Submerge myself. Be done with this world. This cruel world. I’ve reached my limit. One last battle, then tranquility.

Then I wake up and say, you were supposed to answer me with your quirky humour, you Assie Vegamite-infested funny boy !

Nooo, you answered me too late. The tragedy.
