I’ve had a whippet roll in the stuff. I’m still waiting for a washing machine to come with a ā€œWoollens and Whippetsā€ option. I’m told that in the US with skunks you simply take the dog down to the pound for a fortnight.

Anyway, UK politics. Foxshit: I blame Starmer!

My dog loves to roll in fox shit, badger shit, dead birds, dead fish, anything that stinks actually. She rolls in it then looks you dead in the eye with a look of complete satisfaction.

That changes pretty quick when she susses that a bath is coming.

It is definitely not as widely taken compared to people in the west as I can see.

swing and a miss…

Bollocks is what I see alot in this forum written by people like you but it’s just that I am not so overly eager to be right like you are on the internet.

To be fair, I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have a fucking clue what you were on about. Why on Earth are you talking about fucking pronouns?

The Labour government is rabidly left wing/pathetically moderate depending on your point of view. The Tories are becoming ever more extreme, will probably end up calling themselves MABA.

I completely agree with these points and have mentioned it a few times regarding the Budget and Labour having to make tough calls, which they potentially could not foresee until in power.

However, in the same sentence how the public judge these decisions come down to political alignment.
I am aware of your political stance and I respect you for that. But, I think you are guilty of exactly the same thing as what you are suggesting. We all are to a degree, some more so than others.

So, the Leave campaign was full of lies, maybe so, but so was the Remain campaign. Going on your post (first two quotes), is it wrong to suggest that the Leave campaign, could not follow through on some of its ā€œLiesā€ because they were unable to do what they wanted to, because of what they were dealing with? The position they found themselves in?
Strong opposition by the public, getting it voted through parliament and in agreement with the EU. Surely, that follows your logic.
Is it wrong to suggest that after Brexit, the Remains ā€œcontinual assertionsā€ of needing an Emergency budget, the House Market crashing, unemployment rising by 500,000, a mass exodus from London by the Financial sector, big Car manufacturers leaving the UK, etc could have been lies?

Are you including yourself in that statement or just everyone who disagree’s with you?

I think, by observing from (Singapore?), you have misunderstood rather a lot of nuances here. There is, even according to those you are here critical of, something called a hierarchy (the word relative also comes to mind). You know, a hierarchy as in someone calling you a fool, then someone calling you a mindless cunt and later far worse, then someone actually breaking your bones, then someone breaking your bones, but in a sadistic torture-like manner. Then raping you as well. Then killing you. Then killing you and then mutilating your corpse. Then killing you and then mutilating your corpse while also sending the pieces back to your mother with a video of how you were tortured and murdered.

You know, scale. So rather obviously, no one half sane would think that someone calling someone a man, if they identify as a female, is equally serious as breaking someone’s bones or indeed violence committed in a war.

Anyway, sorry. I saw now scrolling down, that a lot of others had replied to you, so my reply was rather superfluous tbh. But what you wrote wasn’t sensible really. Relativity, nuance, scale and hierarchy. Or a pyramid (or onion if you prefer).
Maybe a bit more simply put; questions of identity and certainly less important ones such as what pronouns one personally prefers, is only ever interesting if you are located a bit higher up on Maslow’s pyramid.
If you are located a bit further down, you have, generally speaking, different priorities.

Maybe the most impressive part, is that you are ignorant enough, to consider that English may not be the poster’s native language. I suppose it is easier to mock someone and put a  in your reply, than actually say that their point may have been lost in translation and ask if they could elaborate.

My understanding of @gasbands post is (so please accept that they haven’t actually said this) is that stepping on Dog shit or a landmine is non comparable. Even so, what gives you the right to decide on how the said person views their situation. The western world/democracy claim to value the freedom of speech/mind/opinion, but in fact, there is a percentage of the population, like yourself. Who consider their opinions more important than others and rather than respect or consider other peoples opinions are only too keen to dismiss them as stupid.

Anyhow, that’s just my interpretation of their post. Maybe, ask them to explain just for clarity.

Right, I had that, just not clear where the robot lawnmowers going over dogshit fit in? Is that a Westminster thing?
