UK Politics Thread (Part 4)

This is an interesting insight to the working of British media and Zionist influence.

Camilla Turner is a British journalist currently serving as the Political Editor for The Sunday Telegraph. She has also contributed to other outlets like The Sunday Times, The Guardian, and The Financial Times earlier in her career.

Over the last few weeks, pieces by Camilla Turner have included:

(Headline, 15th March 2026): ‘Stockpile medicine to avoid shortage during Iran war, pharmacists tell Streeting’

“Tehran’s Strait of Hormuz blockade could cut off supplies of vital drugs to UK patients, Health Secretary is warned.”

The piece blames Iran entirely for the current situation.

(Headline, 14th March 2026): ‘Starmer may send thousands of drones to the Middle East’

“Military officials consider using interceptors pioneered in Ukraine to tackle Iranian Shaheds.”

The piece frames it as a necessity.

(Headline, 8th March 2026): ‘Blair rebukes Starmer over failure to back Trump’s war’

“Sir Tony Blair has admonished
Sir Keir Starmer for his decision not to support American strikes on Iran.
He said Sir Keir should nave backed Donald Trump from the very beginning of the escalating conflict.”

This piece frames it as an inevitability, and that we must get involved.

(Headline, 7th March 2026): ‘Universities that fail to halt extremism face closure.’

“Higher education watchdog to monitor campuses for terrorist sympathisers and hate speech.”

The piece frames it as though support for the Palestinian cause is support for terrorism.

(Headline, 28th February 2026): ‘Shut down Iran propaganda machine operating in Britain, Starmer told’

“Sir Keir Starmer has been urged to clamp down on charities accused of operating as part of an Iranian influence “network” in Britain…”

There is a blatant hypocrisy to her writing that piece, considering the Zionist influence network she is part of.

Camilla Turner’s parents are Jonathan Turner (CEO of UK Lawyers for Israel, or UKLFI) and Caroline Turner (a director of UKLFI).

This link creates a blatant conflict of interest when it comes to her coverage of Israel, Palestine, the U.S. or Iran related stories. This has already been demonstrated by the front-page article in The Sunday Telegraph (September 2024) co-authored by Camilla Turner and Patrick Sawer under the headline “BBC breached guidelines more than 1,500 times during Israel-Hamas war”.

The piece centered on a detailed report by British-Israeli lawyer Trevor Asserson known as the Asserson Report. It used AI analysis of BBC broadcasts and articles from October 2023 onward to claim over 1,500 breaches of the BBC’s own editorial guidelines on impartiality, accuracy, and fairness in coverage of the Israel-Gaza genocide. Camilla’s father, Jonathan, had significant involvement in the Asserson Report and related advocacy around it.

The Telegraph front-page story did not disclose this connection. Camilla Turner did not disclose this connection.

It was Camilla’s father, Jonathan Turner, who made comments suggesting Israel’s Gaza blockade could “reduce obesity” and raise life expectancy.

The comments come from a letter he wrote to the Co-operative Group in early May 2025, lobbying against a motion to stop selling Israeli produce. It was in response to a reference in the motion to a Lancet letter estimating potential long-term deaths from the Gaza conflict.

He wrote:

“The [Lancet] letter also ignored factors that may increase average life expectancy in Gaza, bearing in mind that one of the biggest health issues in Gaza prior to the current war was obesity.”

UKLFI is currently under investigation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). In August 2025, the Public Interest Law Centre and European Legal Support Centre filed a complaint alleging “vexatious and legally baseless” legal threats to suppress Palestine solidarity. Caroline Turner is specifically named in the complaint.

UKLFI are responsible for demanding the removal of Gaza children’s artwork at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, opposing the Falastin Film Festival, lobbying against Palestine badges at Barts Health NHS Trust, pressuring the Open University over “ancient Palestine” references, complaining to the British Museum, threatening legal action over arms export licences to Israel, and much more.

UKLFI primarily engages in advocacy, complaints, legal threats (often described by critics as SLAPPs—Strategic Lawsuits Against Public Participation), reports to authorities, and occasional litigation or judicial reviews. These actions target perceived ‘antisemitism’, support for BDS, or criticism of Israel.

They’ve gone after British universities, hospitals, charities, festivals, employers, anyone who dare speak up for the Palestinian cause.

In July 2025, UKLFI reported Roger Waters to UK counter-terrorism police. This followed his public support (via a video post) for the group Palestine Action after it was proscribed as a terrorist organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000. UKLFI alleged breaches of the Act, noting that even if posted from abroad (Waters lives in America), it applied to him as a British citizen.

In 2025, UKLFI sent legal warnings to major UK studios (Netflix, Warner Bros., Disney, etc.), distributors, broadcasters (BBC, ITV), talent agencies, and unions (Equity, Bectu) over the “Film Workers Pledge to End Complicity.” This pledge (signed by thousands, including celebrities) vowed not to work with Israeli film institutions accused of complicity in “genocide and apartheid.” UKLFI argued the boycott breached the UK’s Equality Act 2010 by discriminating on grounds of nationality, race, or religion.

UKLFI was directly involved in initiating police complaints against both Kneecap and Bob Vylan. They reported both acts to UK police, leading to investigations that wasted tens of thousands of pounds in taxpayer money, as well as police time and resources, all as part of a pattern of attempts to suppress pro-Palestine activism in the arts.

In March 2026, Natasha Hausdorff (UKLFI’s legal director) sued Piers Morgan for libel/defamation. This stemmed from a heated June 2025 interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, where they clashed over Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Hausdorff made wild claims about Hamas “terror infrastructure,” to which Morgan responded by calling her statements “bullshit”, which they were, and accused her of failing to tell the truth. The lawsuit alleges these remarks were defamatory, portraying her as dishonest in her commentary. Morgan publicly addressed the lawsuit on social media. On 4th March 2026, he posted on X that he welcomed “the opportunity for an open court test of Ms Hausdorff’s defence of the Israeli Govt’s claims about its actions in Gaza”.

Of course, Camilla Turner won’t tell you any of this as she writes about the “hard-left” MP, ‘accused’ of “peddling anti-Semitic conspiracy theory”.

Is this information from a credible source? Because I’m not surprised if any of this was true.

Been following him for some time. He’s a legit journalist from what I can see. I’ve also seen this mentioned in other articles.

That’s crazy deep spy stuff.

basically what happened to Corbyn when he was Labour leader. A lot of clandestine and also overt Israeli influence in British politics in general and Labour in particular.

What’s the gist, for those of us who wouldn’t touch Instagram with a barge pole.

How Starmer is neck deep in a group linked with Israel and later the US via group called the Trilateral Coalition (Rockerfeller). All with Mandelson pushing the agenda for closer ties and support for Israel. They were willing to take down politicians that were not pro Israel enough.

It sounds pretty wild but not impossible by a long long way.

You mean the Trilateral Commission? It’s not as though they’re some shadowy Israeli psy-ops group. They literally have their own Wikipedia entry for crying out loud: Trilateral Commission - Wikipedia

EDIT: Looking at the Instagram profile of the guy, his ‘work’ looks like exactly the kind of antisemitism that caused Corbyn so much trouble to begin with. Sampling another post already shows some conspiracy theory about the Rothschilds.

EDIT 2: Also, can we stop just posting random crap from social media? Most of the time they’re amateurs for a reason, and they’re often far more biased than even the supposed biased mainstream media.

I’ve no idea how accurate that is. I’ve just tried (and failed) to give a summary of the post and i’m glad you’ve managed to do some digging on it.

Personally I’m convinced Mandelson is dirty as fuck, and I can’t figure out why Starmer has been in bed (politically) with him.

Birds of a feather…

Maybe, but that kinda makes his whole outlook and profile a sham.

Farage has also voiced support for the IRA on those videos. He doesn’t give a shit as long as he gets paid.

There was another one of these far-right grifters (Laurence Fox) who admitted to someone who berated him in the street that he just says outrageous crap for the money.

Anyone know what “un-British” means? I haven’t the foggiest idea and I suspect neither has Ange…

Yay.

Un-Australian is a common refrain Down Under. Super pleased the term has made it back to the Motherland.

She must have a good pair of oars.
All that rowing back…
