Somewhat shocking, but the cries of ā€˜election interferenceā€™ are amusing in their irony. The GOP and proxies such as the Heritage Foundation have all but destroyed any notion that private entities can have any legal responsibility of political neutrality, viz. Fox News choosing to define itself as ā€˜entertainmentā€™.

Or perhaps his campaign team have decided the less people see of him the better ?

That picture is strangely fascinating. Definitely should be a Digital Card of that.

I read somewhere just recently, that contrary to what Trump the Ogre wants people to believeā€¦ he is actually hunkering down, and cramming like crazy for the debate that is on the horizon. By the sounds of it, this has him deeply concerned in going up against Kamala Harris. After all, it could hugely impact the race for either one of them

The Senate map is very advantageous to the GOP in this cycle, but they have a couple of very winnable races slipping away from them that might be the difference between winning back the chamber vs staying in the minority. I wonder what they are doing right now to focus their effort on that? Oh

Could just as easily have gone in the Middle East thread but I decided to plonk it here. A pretty clear overview from the reliable Thomas L. Friedman of the straining of the symbiotic relationship between US/Israel under Netanyahu and a look at likely outcomes. Free to read.

Always sort of wonder what possible relevance polls like that have, other than to illustrate why so many citizens of US allies have a difficult time really understanding America.

Well in this case Iā€™m imagining a cultural relevance, an insight as to which voters identify themselves with him rather than an in-depth policy discussion and its relevance for the US.

Vibes, if you will.

Itā€™s relevant to the UK rather than the US. It confirms that Reform voters are fucked in the head, but also that Tories arenā€™t as bad as you might think.

Fascinating polling out yesterday showing that Bidenā€™s approval ratings have massively rebounded back to levels he hasnā€™t had since before the Afghanistan exit. There is a lot to unpack in that.

It may just be people approving of his unselfish actions. It seems unlikely that it would be the same if he had stayed in the race.

Sure, but being unhappy that he was running again SHOULDNT impact your view of how he is doing the role he is already in. It is somewhat expected, but also a reminder that job approval numbers donā€™t mean what they typically used to argue for/against

The new RCP averages now have Trump ahead in only two of the battleground states , Arizona and North Carolina.

There should only be one person that should be voted for in this election. If I am American, I would vote Kamala. Not that I like her or that she is going to change anything but America will be an even bigger joke if they vote in a convicted criminal as the President.
