Yeah that’s dement(ia)ed. Could just run that verbatim as a Kamala ad.

Isn’t this watch inflationary?
It’s probably not even in the top ten of disgusting things he’s said.
Sometimes, I wish the Democrats would drop to his level and return the insults in kind. Unlike Trump, they wouldn’t be lying.
That’s exactly what he wants.
Love that he is out there plugging his watches during an election campaign.
Surely that should tell any voter where his interests lie and is not with them.
They are a means to an end for him.
The Harris campaign should be hammering him on those ads.
Wrestling with pigs is only going to end with one you getting dirty - better to steer clear and let the implosion run its course.
What’s the phrase, probably greek, an idiot will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. Actually, hang on……
Wrongly attributed to Mark Twain apparently
Didn’t Klopp once say something similar?

What are your answer’s to the questions:
- If Reps lose by less than 10 electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
- If Reps lose by 30+ electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
- If Dems lose by less than 10 electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
- If Dems lose by 30+ electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
Nothing much. Trump will already be done in politics, so new blood is already guaranteed. If there is a loss (and I still think its unlikely), it will most likely be down to a large segment of undecided voters that dislike him more than any positives they think he has.
Changes need to be made on the selection of the candidate. A more moderate politician will need to be selected.
Drop Harris. There are stronger candidates.
Stop selecting candidates (VP included) based on sex and race, or sexual orientation (Buttigieg is a good candidate that happens to be gay, so need to push that narrative). Select a moderate candidate. Focus more on policy rather than the opponent (I think this will happen naturally once Trump has gone)
If Harris loses, she definitely won’t be the candidate next time (if there is one). There are a number of strong candidates in the Democratic Party as was seen at the convention.
Your post implies that she has been doing the mudslinging, which is patently absurd (see above). Have you been paying attention?
If Trump loses, there will be an almighty succession battle between all his far right disciples, each of them trying to be more rabidly right wing than the other.
Of course, that’s after all the attempts to overthrow the election.
Unfortunately, your questions imply that the election process will take place smoothly and without conflict or violence. This would be welcome, but is doubtful, to say the least.
Its just my opinion, the questions were not asked in order to give me feedback on my answers. Mud slinging on both sides, however on Rep side, mudslinging and broad policy. On Dems side, mudslinging and significantly less policy. If you don’t agree that’s fine, just focus on answering the questions.
Great questions. I’ll give it a go:
What are your answer’s to the questions:
- If Reps lose by less than 10 electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
Jettison Trump. Serial loser. Old and past it. Then think about the extremist MAGA agenda, but I suspect it will not be conclusive due to a narrow loss. Is it the right agenda, just with the wrong leader, who is too flawed and past it? The leader will change but the overall direction won’t, much. They might conclude it just needs a younger, more polished messenger.
- If Reps lose by 30+ electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
Jettison Trump, and hopefully a new thing has permission to emerge, where some of the more reasonable GOP members consider how to enlarge the tent and get away from the politics of hate, and us v them. If suitably fanned to flame, this could form the basis of future reasonable government.
- If Dems lose by less than 10 electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
Probable leader change. Run a proper process, open, have a proper ‘fight’ about it, and see who emerges. For whatever reason, Harris would have lost to an extremely flawed opponent, so she will likely need to step down.
- If Dems lose by 30+ electoral votes, what do they change as a party, if anything?
Change leader, change the messaging. Not all of it, but they need a better economic message. They should also fight hard for structural changes, as the deck is stacked against the Dems with the current system. Voting should be easier and a voting rights bill needs to pass. Groundwork should be done on changing the electoral college, and the Senate system, to make it all more democratic. Groundwork should be done on changing the Supreme Court too - term limits, and numerous other sensible measures to try to get a court fit for purpose.
A big loss for the Dems will result in a new leader, but then they have to reform the structures of the game, as a minority party is disproportionately running the show.
How are they going to reform the structures after a heavy loss?
